Yet another Shepherd signing, this time its German lady racer Sabrina Lechner who following on from last months Ein weiterer Shepherd Unterzeichnung dieses Mal seiner deutschen Frau racer Sabrina Lechner, die im Anschluß an das letzte Monat announcement Ankündigung that she will run IDM motors has agreed to run the German made Velox for this season. Dass sie läuft IDM-Motoren vereinbart hat, um den deutschen gemacht Velox für diese Saison. Alongside IDM motors, European ‘B’ Championship semi finalist Sabrina will also run the new ATS made IDM tires in this years German Nationals. Neben der IDM-Motoren, europäischen 'B' Championship semi Finalist Sabrina wird auch das neue ATS, IDM-Reifen in diesem Jahr deutsche Staatsangehörige. As with all 3 new Shepherd signings announced yesterday, Sabrina had competed with Mugen until this season. Wie bei allen neuen 3 Shepherd signings gestern angekündigt, Sabrina hatte konkurrierte mit Mugen, bis dieser Saison.

JP Racing, distributors for Shepherd in France, have announced that leading French 1/8th scale racer Stephane Bouche will race the Velox in this years French and European Championships. The 5th round of the Carpet Wars series was held last weekend with title leader Olly Jefferies only needing a 3rd in this round to confirm his second title in recent weeks, having clinched the Rug Racers modified title 2 weeks ago. Die 5. In qualifying it was Andy Childs that put in a good run in the final round of qualifying to pip Jefferies to the pole position, while lining up 3rd was Kevin Brunsden. Im Qualifying war es Andy Childs, dass die in einem guten Lauf in die letzte Runde der Qualifikation zum Kernobst Jefferies auf die Pole-Position, während Futter wurde bis 3. Kevin Brunsden. In the final Olly had a bad start and was knocked back to last after a collision with pole man Andy Childs, he was able to bring his HB Cyclone home in sixth place but as other results went his way, this was enough to give him the modified title. European ‘B’ European 'B' Vice Champion Vize-Champion Eric Dankel from Germany has agreed a 2 year deal with Shepherd Micro Racing to drive their newly released Velox 1/8th scale chassis. Eric Dankel aus Deutschland hat sich auf einen 2 Jahre mit Shepherd Micro Racing zu fahren ihre neu erschienen Velox Maßstab 1:8 Chassis. Also a top runner in the German Championships, Eric leaves behind former Sponsor Mugen, but will continue with long term engine supplier Novarossi while for fuel and tires he will be using Runner Time and PMT. Auch ein Top-Läufer in der deutschen Meisterschaften, Eric hinterlässt ehemaligen Sponsor Mugen, sondern wird auch weiterhin mit den langfristigen Lieferanten Novarossi Motor während für Brennstoff-und Reifen wird er mit Runner Zeit-und PMT.

Red RC are excited to announce that we have partnered up with the Much More backed European Touring Series (ETS) to become the series’ official promotional partners. Along with creating a dedicated site for this new professional series, that can be accessed through the tab in the top menu, we will also be present at every round covering it live beginning with next months (14-16th of March) second round from Vejle, Denmark. Zusammen mit der Schaffung einer speziellen Website für dieses neue Profi-Serie, kann über den Reiter in der oberen Menüleiste, wir werden auch bei jeder Runde, die es leben, beginnend mit nächsten Monat (14.-16. März) zweiten Runde aus Vejle , Dänemark. The series, co-organised by Scotty Ernst and Uwe Rheinard, ran a successful first round alongside the International Speed Weekend in Germany last October, and round 2 sees the series go into its first stand alone event, and the first of 2008.
