Josh Cyrul signs for TOP Racing Josh Cyrul indications pour TOP Racing

Tokyo hobbies Optional Parts (TOP) have announced that they have entered signed top US racer Josh Cyrul who will be representing TOP as a driver and engineer. Norwegian Winter Series Rd4 Norvégien hiver série Rd4

The 4th round of the Norwegian Winter Series took place this past weekend hosted by Borg MRK, who presented the racers with a small and tricky circuit to race on. In qualifying for the modified class it was Adrian Berntsen that claimed the TQ spot in front of his Xray team mate Helge Johannessen in 2nd while the 3rd starting spot would be taken by Eirik Andreassen. The SuperStock (19 turn) class saw the best starting field so far this year, and all racers were out to stop Kyosho racer Marcus Alvestad’s winning streak, having won the last 2 rounds. Le Haber (19 tour) classe a vu le meilleur départ terrain jusqu'ici cette année, et tous les coureurs étaient hors d'arrêter Kyosho racer's Marcus Alvestad victorieuse, après avoir remporté les 2 dernières manches. Marcus however was still the man to beat in qualifying, taking the top spot in front of Petter Berntsen with Kai Ronning in 3rd. Marcus était cependant encore l'homme à battre dans la qualification, en prenant la première place devant Petter Berntsen Kai Ronning en 3e.

The producers of the great RC TV show RC Racing were once again in contact to inform us of the upcoming Episode 4 which premieres this Wednesday on European cable channel Motors TV. Daniel Vega wins Rd1 Spanish regionals Daniel Vega remporte Rd1 espagnol régionaux

Last weekend saw the first race of the 2008 regional season take place in the centre of Spain in a town called Valladolid. Le week-end dernier a vu la première course de la saison 2008 régionaux ont lieu dans le centre de l'Espagne dans la ville de Valladolid. The weather was very windy and cold and the drivers had to contend with a slippery track, but the atmosphere was good and everybody enjoyed themselves. Le temps était très froid et venteux, et les pilotes ont dû composer avec une piste glissante, mais l'ambiance était bonne et tout le monde jouissaient eux-mêmes. The final saw Mugen driver Daniel Vega start from pole position and he went on to win the race ahead of Losi driver Felix Zamorano in 2nd with Hoboa racer David Marcos in 3rd. La finale a vu Mugen conducteur Daniel Vega partir de pole position et il a remporté la course devant Losi conducteur Felix Zamorano en 2ième avec Hoboa coureur David Marcos en 3e.

Jon Hazlewood joins Team Losi Jon Hazlewood rejoint le Team Losi

Horizon Hobby in the UK are delighted to announced that top off road racer Jon Hazlewood has joined their team to race Losi and Spektrum for 2008. Horizon Hobby au Royaume-Uni ont annoncé que ravi de haut hors route racer Jon Hazlewood a rejoint leur équipe et à la race Losi Spektrum pour 2008. He will be using the new Spektrum DX3R, Losi 8ight and 8ight-T at all events of his choice along with this years Euros and the all important World Championships. Il sera amené à utiliser les nouvelles Spektrum DX3R, Losi 8ight et 8ight-T à tous les événements de son choix avec d'euros cette année et de l'ensemble important de championnats du monde. Jon brings with him his long standing pit man Jon Dell, years of experience and an amazing dedication to his racing and leaves behind a team who have supported him over the past few years and Jon had this to say. Jon apporte avec lui son ancienne fosse homme Jon Dell, années d'expérience et un dévouement à son étonnante course et laisse derrière lui une équipe qui lui ont apporté leur soutien au cours des dernières années et Jon avait ceci à dire.

I am leaving a very hard working team who have given me great support, but I feel it is now time for a change and some new challenges. Je quitte une très dur travail d'équipe qui m'ont donné un grand soutien, mais je pense qu'il est maintenant temps de changer et de nouveaux défis. Losi have proven over the years that no matter what class of racing they participate in they dedicate their resources until they succeed and I want to be a part of their plans. During 2007 I watched how fast the car was and the excellent level of trackside support that Horizon UK were providing. Merlin Fuel have announced that German racer, and Serpent chief designer, Michael Salven will contest this season using their products. Merlin carburant ont annoncé que le coureur allemand, et le Serpent designer en chef, Michael Salven va contester cette saison en utilisant leurs produits. Michael has been 4 time European Champion, 2 time World Champion and has won lots of National titles in both 1:10th and 1:8th scale, which makes him one of the most experienced drivers around. Michael a été 4 fois champion d'Europe, 2 fois champion du monde et a remporté de nombreux titres nationaux dans les deux e et 1:10 e échelle 1:8, ce qui fait de lui l'un des plus expérimentés conducteurs autour. Together with the Merlin R+D Department, he will be giving his input to help improve the Spanish company’s range of products. Losi have announced that 2007 ROAR National Champion Adam Drake will campaign Mario Rossi Tuned engines from GRP through to 2010. This weekend saw the first round of the 2008 Catalunyan Championships take place in Santa Perpetua, and saw 65 racers in attendance. Ce week-end a vu la première manche du Championnat 2008 Catalogne lieu à Santa Perpetua, et a vu 65 coureurs présents. After the wet weather on Saturday, Sunday stayed dry but overcast and saw European Champion, and new GRP signing, Robert Batlle take the top spot for the final. Après le temps pluvieux le samedi, le dimanche est resté sec mais couvert, et a vu Champion d'Europe, et de nouveaux GRP signature, Robert Batlle prendre la première place pour la finale. In the race, the Hobao driver could take the win, finishing in front of Nanda racer Gerard Roig in 2nd, using the new SIIM engine, and Mugen driver Alex Brujas in 3rd. Dans la course, le conducteur Hobao pourrait prendre la victoire, terminant devant Nanda racer Roig Gerard en 2e, en utilisant le nouveau moteur de SIIM et Mugen conducteur Alex Brujas en 3e.
