Yawn…nothing ground breaking here. Why should someone want to leave a reputable company like Serpent, Mugen or Kyosho to get a car that their local hobby shop might not have parts for the way they do for these larger manufacturers?

However I do like where they have mounted the steering servo and receiver. I think many on-road cars will copy this layout.

There will not be many changes to 1/8 4wd IC. I think the more manufacturers involved the better. When it gets to complicated or expensive (Serpent Veteq, SMP SLide) that is when you lose interest. I think this is good, and with Motonica, Magic can be a new player to interest those graduating from 200mm IC. Its a fresh take and not a clone like the old Colt cars, or SPS and Power Racing. I just hope they iron any glitches prior to its release, to better serve the customer, and not cause any headache like the release of the 1st gen M1 buggy.
