Boost RC MTC-3 1.5mm Spring Steel Chassis

Boost RC has expanded its 1:10 Electric Touring Car Spring Steel Chassis range with this release for the Mugen Seiki MTC-3.  The chassis was created to deliver a balance between increased steering response, greater confidence at the rear and easier, more consistent handling.  It’s optimised layout lowers the car’s centre of gravity, helping the MTC-3 feel more stable and predictable without sacrificing the agility required for competitive touring car racing.  Manufactured from high-quality 1.5 mm spring steel, the chassis weighs 147 grams and is fully compatible with the original MTC-3 chassis screws and hardware.  Its distinctive layout and black surface finish also give the car a unique and aggressive appearance.  To provide a cleaner and more flexible electronics installation, every chassis includes the complete Sliding Motor Cooling Duct Kit.  The kit contains two mounting plates: a Standard Plate for drivers who prefer to use their own fan mount or cooling solution, and a Sliding Plate with an integrated guide.  Also included are dedicated Sliding Cooling Ducts for both 30 mm and 40 mm fans.  The duct can be moved along the guide to position the fan precisely next to the motor according to the selected gearing and motor position.  Once adjusted, it is securely locked in place using a fixing screw accessible from underneath the chassis.  Both plates use the original mounting hole located on the MTC-3 motor mount, ensuring a clean and fully integrated installation.  All cooling-system components are manufactured from carbon-fibre reinforced engineering polymer, combining low weight, rigidity and durability.
