Antenna Heads – Sanwa M11DSSS & MX-3FHSS
MX-3FHSS
As the name implies the MX-3 in 2.4GHz guise supports the so called “Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum” technology. This means the radio and receiver “hop” trough the 2.4GHz frequency range only stopping for milliseconds at one frequency. This is different from the DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) technology found on the M11DSSS. We explain that a bit later.
The MX-3FHSS is based on the standard MX-3 which means the radio offers a third (switched) channel and software features like Servo Reverse, Sub Trim, 18 Model Memory, ARC (Exponential for steering and throttle), End Point Adjustment and Steering Dual Rate. This means the software menu is clearly arranged. Any set-up changes can be done with only four buttons making It ideal for part time racers and “bashers” alike.
The only real difference between the MX-3 and the MX-3FHSS is the short aerial associated with most the common 2.4GHz radios.
