Jake Thayer doubles at 2018 Desert Classic

This past weekend, more than 300 drivers arrived at the beautiful Hobby Action facility in Chandler, Arizona to compete in the 2018 Desert Classic. When the dust settled, and the results were tallied, it was Yokomo’s Jake Thayer with the win in 13.5T 4WD Buggy from TQ holder Wayne Wyrick (TLR) and Antonio Counsil in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Over in 17.5T 2WD Buggy it was Jake Thayer (Yokomo) with the TQ and win in the single 7-minute A-main from Wayne Wyrick (TLR) 2nd and James Gallatin (TLR) 3rd. In 17.5T Racing Truck Wayne Wyrick would take the TQ and winning honours while Davey Batta TQ’d and won 17.5T Short Course.
