Last weekend we told you about the Niteline RC18R from Team Associated, and now they have released a large action shot of the car as well as a studio picture to give a better look at this cartoon style Nissan Skyline body. The Niteline is the latest addition to a large range of RC18 chassis’, following on from the multi terrain rally versions and the previous buggy, stadium truck and monster truck versions. Just like its cousins the 18T, 18B and 18MT, everything is included-the car, transmitter, motor, battery and charger are all in the box at no extra cost….
According to our friends at Xtreme RC Magazine, Team Associated are working on a touring car version of their popular RC18R rally cars, called the Niteline. The Niteline 18R packs big-time 4WD on road performance into a mini-sized package. Based on the original RC18T platform, the 18R features an Associated Niteline body, 7-spoke wheels and optimized onroad suspension for superior handling and traction. No word yet on release dates. Now normally I wouldn’t write about such cars as I find them a bit toyish, but these ones are cute and are made by the grandaddy of RC competition, Team Associated, so they are deserving of mention.
