Motogo Seiki TRF201XMW MSLowRider V2

Following first images of Motogo Seiki’s MSLowRider conversion for Tamiya’s TRF201XMW buggy, we now have new images available of the updated V2 variant that is being tested at the moment. The current car features a fully CNC-machined aluminium chassis to replace the standard alloy part with the Motogo Seiki chassis offering milled sections underneath the steering servo, electronics, LiPo battery pack and the motor in order to lower the centre of gravity and to allow the use of additional weights. Motogo Seiki TRF201XMW MSLowRider conversion

Motogo Seiki are currently working on a low-profile gearbox set for Tamiya’s TRF201XMW 2WD off-road buggy. These so called “low rider” gearboxes are en vogue in today’s 2WD buggy racing especially when competing on high to very-high grip surfaces like carpet and astro turf. Motogo Seiki M22-S.A.C. prototype

…allowing to place the rear wing above the rear A-arms for a more compact appearance of the buggy. The rear gearbox also incorporates mounting brackets for an optional anti-roll bar while up front the buggy is equipped with an aluminium dual bellcrank steering, a new alloy bulkhead and shock tower. Mark Lim dominates NOOB Singapore Rd3

Motogo-Seiki RB5 Mid motor conversion

Motogo-Seiki in Japan have released version 2 of their Kyosho Ultima RB5 mid motor conversion set. The new configuration allows the mounting of LiPo saddle packs and has a lower mounted gearbox compared the previous version. Still in the final stages of production, the set will be only available in this light grey colour and utilizes as many parts from the RBS as possible to keep costs down.
