Our friends at Fun & Drive in Germany have been in touch to tell us that they have been appointed the German distributor for the Picco based range of IDM engines. I have been working on my own 1:8 buggy design for nearly two years now, and at the time I started talking with Himoto, it was already done. When I finally showed them my prototype they were impressed, and basically things took off from there. The Japanese governing body, the JMRCA have announced a number of important ammendments to their rules and regulations for 2008 that include the use of 2.4Ghz radio systems to be allowed during sanctioned racing.
