Simon Reeves, driving a Team Losi XXX4 buggy, has totally dominated round 1 of the Stotfold Winter Series, held last weekend. Having TQ’d the event Simon went on to win all 3 of his finals to take the round win and the lead in the championship. LRP are reporting on their site on the success of their products in Russia and particularly the 2006 Russian Outdoor Championships that was won by 3 time National Champion Ivan Laptev. OK, i know this race took place over 3 weeks ago but it was an important race and the event report only just showed up on the Novarossi website. Fredy Andres has won round 7 of the Carioca Championships that were held last weekend in Brazil. Fredy Andres ha vinto rotondo 7 del Carioca Campionati che si sono svolte lo scorso fine settimana in Brasile. The penultimate round of the championships Fredy won the pro buggy class driving a GS ahead of Helio Mattos with a Thunder Tiger in 2nd with Kyosho racer Ricardo Queros in 3rd. Just a quick post to mention that last weekend the 2006 Tamiya World Championships were held at a large indoor exhibition hall in Shizouka, Japan.
