JP Racing, distributors for Shepherd in France, have announced that leading French 1/8th scale racer Stephane Bouche will race the Velox in this years French and European Championships. The 5th round of the Carpet Wars series was held last weekend with title leader Olly Jefferies only needing a 3rd in this round to confirm his second title in recent weeks, having clinched the Rug Racers modified title 2 weeks ago. European ‘B’ Europeo 'B' Vice Champion Vice Campione Eric Dankel from Germany has agreed a 2 year deal with Shepherd Micro Racing to drive their newly released Velox 1/8th scale chassis. Also a top runner in the German Championships, Eric leaves behind former Sponsor Mugen, but will continue with long term engine supplier Novarossi while for fuel and tires he will be using Runner Time and PMT. Red RC are excited to announce that we have partnered up with the Much More backed European Touring Series (ETS) to become the series’ official promotional partners. Japanese company Kawahara are playing with the concept of introducing a new class based on the 1/10th 200mm class, called GPR.
