Jan Ratheisky wins at German TC nationals warm-up

The final round of the Northern Germany electric on-road regionals was held at the huge Braunschweig track this past weekend. The race also marked the warm-up for the German electric touring car nationals later this year. In the 13.5T Blinky Stock class, Jan Ratheisky took the pole position followed by Kevin Sparbier with both being tie on points after the qualifiers. Benjamin Eggerstedt came in 3rd.

The opening A-final went to Jan with a 10 seconds margin over Kevin and Benjamin. The second final was pretty much a blueprint of A1 but Benjamin and Kevin swapped places and up front Jan secured himself the overall win with one A-final still to go. In A3 Jan again took the win tone to tone and behind him a battle between Benjamin Eggerstedt and Mario Wittemeier arose with the better end for Mario. Kevin had a tough final but thanks to the results in A1 and A2 he grabbed the runner-up spot from Benjamin.
