Coming from Xray are a 2mm aluminium chassis and pod plate for the X10’16 pan car kit. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 material and coming black anodised for wear and looks the chassis features several herringbone-shaped cut-outs for optimised flex with the chassis being ideal for low, medium and high-bite conditions as it can improve overall traction and steering.
The 2017 Ice Breaker was held in Garland, Texas and in the Pro Nitro Buggy class it was Noah Dickerson who walked away with the win. Coming from the 2 spot on the grid, Noah lead from lap 13 to lap 90 but two flamouts of Noah’s buggy in the pits would promote Tyler Hooks into the lead that he would hold onto until the final lap when Noah was able to strike back and to take the win from Tyler in second and Jake Dellinger third.

The opening round of the Argentinian Metropolitan Championship was held at the Speed Paradise track. In the premier Pro Buggy class Nicolas Bregante took the win in the 30-minute main final from Fernando Villamil in second and Lucas Lemes third.

Available now from French brand Rusti Design are two carbon fibre ESC fan guards. Cut from 1mm high-quality carbon fibre and thus in most cases usable with the original fan mount hardware, the guards not only look good but they can also prevent damage to the fan’s blades by shielding them from larger debris or the speedo’s wires. The guards are available for 25mm or 30mm fans.
Modelix Racing have introduced the Ultimate Racing EFRA 2142 Super Strong off-road exhaust set. The pipe was designed to improve overall engine performance with a linear throttle response in the low to mid RPM range while offering great top end speed. All this is combined with high bottom end torque for improved acceleration out of corners and to clear jumps. The exhaust system includes the polished aluminium pipe, manifold, gaskets and mounting springs.

Ride have officially introduced their new GR F-1 pre-glued front and rear tyres for 1/10th formula cars. The belted high-grip tyres are available as GR F-1 and GR-X F1 front as well as GR F-1 rear variant all of which come on black multi-spoke rims suitable for all “narrow” F104-style formula cars. The GR front and rear tyres are the official handout tyres for the outdoor races of the 2016/17 ENS season.
T-Works have introduced a set of spring preload nuts for the Xray T4 series of cars. The parts are machined from 7075-T6 aluminium, they come orange anodised to match the remainder of the car and are marked for easy identification of the shock absorbers and preload setting. Included in the 4-piece set are also new setting retaining O-rings. T4 specific due to their colour the nuts are also usable on the Yokomo BD8 and BD7.
PR Racing have introduced an aluminium rear camber plate for the PRS1v3 FM 2WD buggy. Machined from high-quality material and coming black anodised for wear and looks the plate is a direct fit on the rear end of the v3 FM buggy, giving a number of different inner ballstud positions to fine-tune the roll centre settings and thus the handling of the vehicle. In addition the plate allows the fitment of the new optional 1.2mm, 1.3mm and 1.4mm rear swaybars.
