Yeah Racing Claws 1.9” crawler tyres

Coming from Yeah Racing are their new Claws 1.9” crawler tyres. Made from a soft compound rubber and including specific foam inserts the tyres offer exceptional traction on a wide range of surface conditions. The tyres feature a 118mm outer diameter and they are usable with most 1.9” crawler and trail truck wheels.

Clement Boda doubles at Happy New Year Race

The Belgian Buggy Club Indoor held their Happy New Year Race this past weekend at their permanent indoor carpet track in Lodelinsart. The event was held in four different 1/10th electric off-road classes and it attracted both national racers and guests from abroad. In the competitive 2WD Modified Buggy class, that drew 53 entries, it was Team Associated’s Clement Boda with the overall TQ from Team Associated driver, Wouter Wynen and Xray’s Mathieu Briere. After the triple A-mains and when the dust had settled it was again Clement on top from Wouter 2nd and Mathieu 3rd.

VRP TLR 22 5.0 XV3 shock pistons

VRP has released the updated 1/10th XV3 piston for the all-new TLR 22 5.0 Buggy. The patented split valve design creates a more durable and consistent piston like the VRP 1/8th XV3 pistons. In addition, the sidewall has been updated to a low friction design which makes for the smoothest stroke possible. The pistons will be made in 2 and 3-hole variant, with splits and +1mm variants as well.

Team C Racing NSX M-type body shell

Coming soon from Team C Racing is a NSX body shell for210mm wheelbase M-type cars. The body adds to Team C’s growing range of M-class 210mm and 225mm wheelbase shells and it offers some great details. The body will include an add-on rear wing and it will hit stores soon.

Jared Tebo wins at Tekno Winter Series

The Tekno Winter Series was held at the Hobbyplex Raceway in Omaha, Nebraska. New Tekno RC signing, Jared Tebo was in control of things in the competitive Nitro Buggy class, taking the overall TQ after the qualifiers and bringing home the win with a 4-laps margin in the 30-minute A-main final. Julian Malevanets (HB Racing) came in 2nd as JQ Racing’s Ashton Abdul rounded out the top 3 results.

Südhoff & Vogel win at MCSS Open

The MCSS Althengstett held the MCSSS Open 2019 this past weekend. The race was held in several electric on-road classes and in the premier Touring Modified category it was Awesomatix’s Freddy Südhoff with the overall TQ from Yokomo’s Ronald Völker and Awesomatix driver, Tim Wahl. The finals also were a done deal for Freddy, who brought home the wins in all three finals for the overall in front of Ronald and Tim. Mugen’s Eric Dankel came as the best of the rest in 4th.

1up Racing TC7.2 wide pivot blocks

Coming from 1up Racing are new wide pivot blocks for the Team Associated TC7.2 down to TC6.2 series touring cars. The new +1.5 dot and +2 dot pivot blocks are wider than standard, offering a new range of fine tuning options and allowing drivers to go all the way to +5 dot wide when paired with standard Team Associated inserts. The suspension mounts also offer a tighter fit than the kit mounts to remove unwanted play from the suspension. Available are 1-piece and split blocks all of which come machined from high-quality aluminium that is finished off with a black surface coating and white markings for easy identification.
