T-Works A319 steel chassis plate protectors

T-Works have introduced their new steel chassis plate protectors for the Agama A319 buggy. Machined from high-quality material and coming as 2-piece sets for either the front or the rear of the chassis, the plates prevent the lower main plate from becoming overly scratched or damaged when running on highly abrasive surfaces or tracks with huge jumps. Included with the sets come longer bulkhead mounting screws, making the parts a direct fit.

Japanese company GForce has introduced their new Zero Circle 7.4V 5400mAh LCG LiPo battery pack. The lightweight low centre of gravity pack weighs in at 243g and it measures 139.5x47x22mm, making it ideal for all applications that require decent capacity and high output power. The battery is built using high-quality 75c cells and it utilises 4mm tube-type power connectors.

Exotek ET410 machined spur gear & mounting plate

New from Exotek is a machined heavy duty delrin spur gear and aluminium mounting plate set for the Tekno ET410 truck’s centre gear differential. The 2-piece design allows for quick and easy spur gear changes as the owner does not have to open the gear diff and remove the outdrive, or refill the oils. The alloy mounting plate also provides cooling of the diff fluid for more consistent diff action while the machined delrin spur gear provides robust durability along with smoother spur gear operation. The set includes a 53T 32 pitch spur gear that is also available separately.

Yeah Racing M-08 alloy motor fan mount brace

Coming from Yeah Racing and made for the Tamiya M-08 M-chassis kits is an aluminium motor fan mount brace. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming in black or blue colour, the brace also acts as a chassis stiffener, connecting the gearbox and centre chassis section for improved overall stiffness. The mount is usable with 30mm fan units, such as the induced YR Tornado fan, and it helps to keep the motor cool when running high-power setups or in high ambient temperatures.

Scorpion Champion Products introduce new chemicals

Available now from Toni Gruber’s Scorpion Champion Products brand are two new products that help to keep nitro vehicles in top condition. First up is a specially developed surface conditioner called Stick Silicone that is applied to drivetrain belts for, making for less friction and thus a more efficient drivetrain action. The result is better acceleration and less fuel consumption while on top of this, the belts also attract less dirt, ensuring a longer lifespan.

PSM DTC & HTC touring car aluminium chassis

Following a first teaser image, PSM from Germany have finally unveiled their new DTC and HTC touring car aluminium main chassis plates. These unique chassis have been specially developed to suit medium-low and medium-high grip conditions. The DTC Delta Traction Characteristics chassis feature delta shaped cut-outs to provide soft torsion characteristics along with consistent performance. The softer flex allows the car to generate more mechanical grip, which is helpful in low grip conditions and/or very tight tracks.

Savoya TQs & wins at French EP Off-road Champs Rd5

Round 5 of the French 1/10th Electric Off-road Championship was held at the CARCA track in Noeux Les Mines last weekend. While Thomas Musso walked away with the win, and the overall championship, in the 4WD Mod Buggy class it was TLR’s Renaud Savoya who dominated the 2WD Mod Buggy category by taking the overall TQ, coming out on top in all three A-mains and also clocking the fastest lap of the weekend. Behind him, it was the Xray duo of Thomas Anger and Mathieu Briere who would snatch the final two podium spots.

Jackie Shum teams up with Arrowmax
