Destiny DTY-12S 1:12
Destiny, the electric onroad brand of Roche RC, has released their new 1:12 chassis, the DTY-12S. The new car features a newly designed narrower 2.0mm 7075 aluminium main chassis to improved cornering speed. It also gets a new design graphite front lower arm with the wheelbase (+/-2.0mm) changeable by changing the direction of aluminium blocks. Also new are 7075 hardened aluminium lightweight 4 deg kingpins. There is also new single piece steering knuckle with pre-built POM insert and polished front wheel axle while a new design graphite stiff front brace is intended for high traction tracks. Other new features include a new graphite chassis side brace and t-brace for chassis reflex adjustment plus a new design floating pod link brace. Pod link position forward/rearward is changeable for roll center adjustment. The DTY-12S comes with a 12 thread holes carbon rear solid axle and fits most spur gears from different brand. As with the Destiny DTY10 Touring Car, the 1:12 gets purple anodising of the 7075 aluminium parts that include the front suspension blocks, servo mounts, steering turnbuckles, motor mount, left bulkhead, center pivot block, rear solid axle and wheel hubs.
