Jones joins WIRC

US Offroad racer Tyler Jones has joined Italian manufacturer WIRC for the 2026 season.  The former Silver State Pro eBuggy winner who made his international race debut this year when he travelled to Australia, for Round 3 of the Team Cayote Asian Buggy Championships finishing 3rd overall in eBuggy and 5th in Nitro, had represented Sparko for the past three seasons being one of the first drivers in the US to run the F8 on its release.  Jones however found out recently that the Taiwanese manufacturer had terminated his contract when they removed him from the team chat group.  Quickly picked up by WIRC, their US distributor welcome him the team saying, ‘Jones brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from competing at the highest levels of RC racing.  Known for his professionalism both on and off the track, Tyler is a natural fit for the culture and vision we are building here at WIRC.  We are excited and ready for the 2026 season!’  Reacting to the deal Jones said, ‘I’m pumped to be joining the WIRC factory team for 2026.  The cars look awesome and I can’t wait to put the work in to show how good they really are.  Big thanks to Eddie and Franco for making this happen.  My first big event will be SIC. Can’t wait to get the year started!’
