Lee wins Team Powers Cup 2026

Making the short trip from Singapore to Malaysia over the weekend, factory Xray driver Nicolas Lee took the win at Team Powers Cup 2026.  With the event attracting just shy of 80 entries to the SACC Mall  RC Park track located on the roof of the Kuala Lumpur shopping mall, qualifying would see the Xray of Andy Dass take the opening qualifier.  However fastest in Q2 & 3 it was Lee who secured the TQ, the Modified class attracting 21 entries.  In the triple finals Lee secured the overall win with back to back wins in the opening two encounters.  With Adik Haikal taking P2 in A1 and Dass P2 in the second A-Main, the runner-up spot would be disputed in A3, Dass managing to win it from Haikal.  In 13.5T Stock, the biggest class of the event with 28 entries, it was the Awesomatix of Kew Sau Gie who secured the TQ and win.  After a bad start with a DNF in A1, he would win A2 & 3 to secure overall victory ahead of the Xray of second place qualifier Sham Sakura with A1 winner Fitri KR’s Mugen Seiki completing the podium.
