Tamiya TRF421X Touring Car

With the 75th edition of Spielwarenmesse, better known as the Nuremberg Toy Fair, taking place in Germany this week, while not the mecca it once was for new car releases, Tamiya has used it to publicly unveil their new TRF421X Electric Touring Car.  With 2026 a big year for the iconic Japanese manufacturer as it celebrates its 50th anniversary, the X model comes a year after the TRF421 platform debuted at the show.  While Tamiya have not yet officially published any detailed images of their latest competitive touring car creation, Kenneth Södergård, a Swede who knows a thing or two about Tamiya touring cars, has on gone into detailed analysis of the TRF421X on his website Blog Kentech which you can read here.
