LRP WorksTeam V2 Fan Mesh and Fan Mount

LRP has released new versions of its WorksTeam Fan Mesh and Fan Mount for use with 40mm fans. The V2 Aluminium Safety Mesh includes mounting hardware and is compatible with 40mm fans. The mesh protects the fan, increases stability by reinforcing it and adds a cool look. The unique centre needle design eliminates axial movement of the fan wheel for improved reliability. The unique mesh design provides additional ventilation from the site for maximum cooling. The WorksTeam aluminium fan mount is securely tightened to the motor using a high strength screw. You can mount up to two fans for efficient cooling. Compared to its predecessor, the V2 comes with a new design for improved specifications with reduced thickness in chassis and drivetrain area that enables installation versatility in 1:8 models. Fenix Racing G56.2 Optional Front End

Italy’s Fenix Racing has released a new optional front end for its G56.2 Pro10 chassis. More rigid than the kit standard front end, it offers a more constant and reliable feelings in the high speed turns. The set comes with Gr.5 Titanium turnbuckles and kingpin, and all the necessary hardware.

IFMAR drops Superpole from IC World C/ship format

IFMAR, the World governing body of RC racing, has announced that for all IC track classes the decision has been taken to retire Superpole from the race format and return to 4 direct qualifiers. The format, in which the participating 4 drivers can book a direct spot in the final alongside the Top Qualifier, had both its fans and its detractors and had its controversies too such as at the 2019 200mm Worlds in Miami. They have also announced for IC Onroad Worlds the introduction of a ‘Last Chance’ final for an 11th spot on the main final grid which is already a feature of the 1:8 Nitro Buggy World Championship race format. In its latest website update, IFMAR have also published updated rules for the upcoming inaugural 1:8 Electric Buggy World Championships set to take place in Portugal from August 26-30 and the 1:8 GT World Championships in Chile which will happen from September 14-20th. Yeah Racing Set-up Station Tray | Droop Gauge

Yeah Racing has added to its Momentum Series of tools with the release of both an Atsushi Hara Limited Edition Setup Station Tray and V2 Round Droop Gauge. Both made from 7075 Aluminium and detailed with Hara’s distinctive purple trademark colour, the Setup Station Tray allows you to neatly organise your pit space with tailored slots for the Momentum Series Tweak wheel, Setup System V2, and Droop Gauge V2. The new Round Droop Gauge V2 allows you to accurately measure downstop from the bottom of the arm or the wheel axle to bottom of chassis distance with the included two wheel discs. The whole set mounts securely into one small package through securing the droop blocks to the wheel discs.

1:28 specialist manufacturer RC Atomic has released an optional Center Damper for its MRX Master pan car kit. The MRX ‘Master Edition’ chassis kit is based on the double PNWC 2024 title winning chassis from the Hong Kong manufacturer with this latest option release also making it possible to adjust the car’s droop.

Power HD welcomes Chinese rising star Chau

Leading servo manufacturer Power HD has announced the signing of rising Chinese offroad racer Eric Chau. With a decade of hard-charging experience in the Asian offroad buggy racing scene he is a multiple A-main racer at regional and national events as well as the International SIGP held in Xiamen in December. For 2025 the young ace will race both domestic and international races including the upcoming Philippine Masters, armed with high-torque GTS-6 and S32-V2 servos. On the news he will officially join Team PowerHD, the Sparko driver said, “I’m stoked to join the PowerHD family! Huge thanks to Mr. Ye and Team Power HD for putting their trust in me. The rock-solid performance of PowerHD servos gives me complete confidence. I’m ready to demonstrate our hard-core strength on tracks around the world—let the new chapter begin!”

Team Associated RC8B4.1 Davide Ongaro Kit

He’s a driver who needs no introduction and now his chassis sponsors Team Associated is offering a Davide Ongaro kit of their RC8B4.1 1:8 Nitro Buggy. Ongaro won a third consecutive IFMAR 1:8 Buggy World Championship in Redovan, Spain, last year and the new kit features a number of the Italian’s favourite option parts include some from his own ONG range. These are all based on the new RC8B4.1 FWB chassis and side guards with tapered chassis design for increased stiffness. A limited edition release, it is exclusively sold from Team Associated directly.
