MR33 MTC-3 3D Aero Front Bumper

New from Marc Rheinard’s MR33 brand comes this 3D Aero front bumper for the Mugen Seiki MTC-3 1:10 Electric Touring Car. Very flexible, which provides additional protection in the event of a crash, in on track performance it is very stable and its shape also ensures that the negative pressure under the front of the vehicle is reduced. As a result, the front axle of the car is pressed less “upwards” and the car remains more direct even at high speeds and has a better position on the racetrack. Approximately 6 grams it has the same weight as the foam bumper from the kit. Slightly longer than the original, this means less foam is required in the body for bodies mounted far forward.

Das Speed Transmitter Steering Wheel

New start-up Das Speed has released a new steering wheel for wheel transmitters which they say is ‘designed to give RC racers the ultimate edge in precision and control.’ Unlike traditional steering wheels that rely on foam or rubber, the Das Speed wheel introduces a unique grip surface with micro-spikes that act like spider hairs, locking onto the driver’s fingers for an exceptionally secure hold. This creates a direct connection between hand and transmitter, putting the driver in true symbiosis with the car. With this innovative grip, there is no need to excessively squeeze the wheel, which has allowed Das Speed to reduce its overall diameter for a more natural and efficient fit in the hand. Phuket RC Sport Arena Opening Race

With new tracks always a positive for the growth of racing and the hobby, over in Thailand RC accessory brand TWT and its owner Widhya Plianarrom has opened a new indoor carpet track in the city of Phuket. Racing action officially got underway at the new ‘Phuket RC Sport Arena’ with the opening round of a newly launched 1:10 2WD Buggy race series. The first date on the four round ‘Int.Offroad Race Series 2025’ would see the TQ go the way of Yospat Eain but in the finals it was Tan Nattapong who took the win ahead of Eain with Tastanasak J. completing the Top 3. The second round of the series will take place on October 4th with more drivers expected to join the series and enjoy the new track.

Another new tool release from aftermarket parts & accessories producer T-Works is this Duo-purpose Turnbuckle/Allen Wrench. In addition to the 4mm turnbuckle adjustment tip at one end, at the other end of the compact and convenient dual purpose tool is a hex driver tip. This is designed for adjusting hex camber screws with options of 1.5mm and 2.0mm sized tips.

Powerstar EFRA 2203 1:8 Buggy Exhaust Pipe Set

Powerstar, a brand of Vapon which also owns VP Pro and Team Saxo, has released their latest 1:8 Offroad Exhaust Pipe set, PS-106. The EFRA 2203 approved exhaust is designed for medium and high speed tracks and is available in Rainbow, Silver, and Ceramic Black options. The set includes the exhaust pipe and manifold, 3 manifold springs, 1 exhaust pipe spring, 4 high temp manifold gaskets and 1 set screw.

Avid 1:10 Truss 2.2 Buggy Wheels

Upgrade parts producer Avid Racing Concepts has released its Truss wheel for 1:10 Offroad use. The most striking feature of the design is the concave face, which enhances reflections from the polished finish while keeping the face vertical to protect the wheel nut and axles when the straightaway pipe becomes a berm. Inside, six ribs reduce rotating mass, and their symmetric triangle truss sits where the hex transfers the most torque, cutting down on wheel fatigue. The inner glue bead ribs are shortened to let the foam absorb impact on landings instead of the tire hitting the rib. Finally, the wheel nut area has fewer cutouts, leaving more material to handle aggressive serrated nuts, a design the US brand pioneered over a decade ago.

FlySky 8-Channel Receiver with Light Control

Radio manufacturer FlySky has released a new versatile 8-Channel Receiver with Light Control that is compatible with their popular Noble NB4 series transmitters. Supporting multiple signal outputs including PWM, PPM, i-BUS2, and S.BUS, its stand out feature of the INr8-8D unit is the support of 11 lighting effects, including left and right turn signals, headlights, brake lights, reverse lights, and fog lights. Each channel is independently controllable, allowing you to create your own custom lighting style. It is also to select three brightness levels with one-button switching between 50%, 80%, or 100% brightness and switch with a single press to achieve the optimal lighting for any scenario. Weighing 12.2 grams the receiver has Intelligent Safety Protection in case of loss of control with safety lights automatically activated.
