7075.it MBX8 R ECO Conversion Kit

Italian after market parts producer 7075.it has released a new conversion kit for the Mugen Seiki MBX8 R ECO 1:8 Buggy.  The 7075 SPC Kit is based on a completely redesigned alu chassis with hard black anodising.  The design gives better weight balance and rotates the motor 180° and moves it more forward wit the saddle-pack batteries moved to the rear.  A new type of central transmission is perfectly aligned with the central differential which is moved to the centre of the chassis for greater efficiency of rotating parts and improved smoothness.  There is a new battery trays for 2S shorty batteries with two mounting positions on the chassis: one forward for more aggressive cornering, and one rearward for greater stability.  A new receiver/ESC/servo mounting plate made from a single 3D-printed plastic piece for weight balance and easy maintenance.  The new 3mm thick servo saver brace is machined from a solid 6mm block.  The design allows mounting on both the 7075 SPC kit and the original kit by simply moving the front reinforcement brace anchor point.

T-Works Mi9/FT9 Hex Adapters

New from T-Works are these 6mm Bearing Wheel Hub Axle adapters for the Schumacher Mi9 and FT9 Electric Touring Cars.  Made from lightweight 7075 aluminium alloy with black hard coated process they are offered in a standard offset and a +1mm offset.  Widening the car with the +1mm will enhance stability.  Each option is sold as a pair.

Fenix Racing G56.2-200 200mm Pro10

Italian manufacturer Fenix Racing have released a 200mm version of their G56.2 Pro10 kit which it is calling the G56.2-200.  The 200mm class is a niche of Pro10 class and more suited for indoor or small twisty circuits.  Working side to side with Roman Krejčí, they started to develop the G56.2-200 in 2024 spending the whole year testing as the 200 is not a simply “scaled down” version of the G56.2.  There are quite a few difference between the models however they do share the same heritage and backbone, such as the V-link suspension.  While developing the G56.2-200, Roman found the time to win the Moravskoslezsky Cup and the Moravian Le Mans Series with it.  The “200” is sharing most of the mechanical parts with the G56.2, but is sporting a proprietary chassis, which can be configured to use shorty or touring lipo battery, allowing the use in mini endurance races.  While working on the project, Fenix Racing choose to upgrade the 200mm sphere differential to Mk3 specs, making the G56.2-200 a brilliant choice for the Pro10-200 or WGT class.

TLR 22X-T 2WD Stadium Truck

Having released their all new 22X 1:10 2WD Race Buggy last month, Team Losi Racing has now announced their new Stadium Truck based on the same platform.  Key improvements include a hard-anodized 2mm 7075-T6 aluminium chassis that’s lengthened and optimized for today’s higher grip tracks, plus adjustable body mounts and all-new front and rear arms. The buggy-length shocks and lower towers produce a lower CG, while larger, 13mm big-bore shocks with 13mm springs contribute to plush landings and quick cornering. Two front caster block and spindle options let you tune the steering feel with options for wide or narrow king pin locations available. The 22X-T also has a new laydown gearbox that offers easy access to the proven ball differential. You’ll be able to maintain the differential and idler gear quickly without disassembling the entire gear box – a big advantage given that the suspension uses the gearbox for all of its mounting positions. TLR includes many option items with the 22X-T to offer the maximum amount of tunability. It also has many parts in common with the 22X DC and 22X AC Race Buggy Kits for easy parts sharing.

Xray X12 4mm Pin Front Coil Springs

New from Xray for its X12 1:12 chassis and other brands of cars with 4mm king pin axles are these soft and ultra soft front coil springs.  Adding 0.9 Soft ‘Silver’ and 0.7 Ultra Soft ‘Gold’ spring options, the new additions are used for more forgiving handling and improve mid cornering.  Developed through extensive testing and racing experience. Stiffness is controlled by the thickness of the wire and by the number of coils; softer springs have a lower “C” value, while stiffer springs have a higher “C” value.

IFMAR confirm Thornhill as ’26 1:8 Offroad Worlds track

IFMAR, the World governing body of RC racing, has officially confirmed that the hosting of the 2026 IFMAR 1:8 Offroad World Championship will be hosted by the Thornhill Racing Circuit in Texas.  Posting details of the 2026 calendar, IFMAR confirmed the widely expected news that the home of the annual ‘The Dirt’ Lonestar Challenge and this year’s ROAR Nationals will welcome the best drivers in the World to battle it our for the biggest prize in the sport from September 26th to October 3rd 2026.  The Thornhill Racing Circuit complex is situated on 13.9 acres with the dirt track having the unique feature of being fully covered.  Las Vegas was the venue on the World Championships last visit to the US when David Ronnefalk took the 2016 title.

Takashima D-13 Mi9 Rear Body Support

Following the recent release of their front body support for the Schumacher Mi9 touring car, Hong Kong’s Takashima D-13 has now produced a rear body support.  Weighing only 1.5 grams, the 3D printed piece is engineered to prevent deformation of lightweight body shells at high speed and reduce the chances of wheel arch cracking.  Additionally Takashima D-13 has added a 3D Printed Lightweight Bumper for the Awesomatix A12 1:12 chassis.  Produced using durable material, it comes in at a weight of 4.2 grams.

Capricorn LAB GT2 Rear Body Support Kit

Another new item from Capricorn for its LAB GT2 1:8 GT chassis is this rear body support kit.  Installing the kit, which contains a carbon fibre extensions which mount to the rear hubs and have a bearing as the contact point with the body. allows better aerodynamic load by supporting the body in a uniform and constant manner.
