XC-ESC E6Max 3~8S ESC

Shenzhen based electronics manufacturer XC Technology has, under its XC-ESC brand, released their new E6Max 3-8S ESC which is engineered for 1:6, 1:7, and 1:8 vehicles. The latest speed controller XC-ESC, who have sponsored the annual SIGP Offroad Race in Xiamen and the upcoming eSIC Touring Car Race in Singapore, is about delivering big current. Equipped with 18 oversized MOSFETs for massive current handling with it capable of 550A of continuous output. Supports up to 8S LiPo for maximum voltage potential. With 25A Built-in High BEC, it has selectable voltage outputs of 6V, 7.4V, and 8.4V ensuring full support for high-performance servos and accessories. A Smart Cooling System means the fan remains off under low temperatures and is automatically activates when a preset temperature is reached, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and extended battery life. Built-in Bluetooth means no programming box/card is required and parameter setting , firmware upgrade and data log can be controlled on the XC-Link Mobile App.

T-Works RC10 4WD Alu Steering Bellcrank

T-Works has released an Aluminium Steering Bellcrank set for the retro RC10 4WD Buggy kit from Team Associated which was released earlier this year. Machine from lightweight aluminium alloy material it is lighter than original standard kit supplied Bellcrank and also offers enhanced durability. Additionally T-Worls has also added front and rear 12mm Aluminium Hex Adapters to its line-up of RC10 4WD option parts. The lightweight aluminium alloy hexs offer a further weight reduction.

MXLR MTC3 FlexBumper

Max Machler’s MXLR brand has added the Mugen Seiki MTC3 to its offering of 3D printed FlexBumpers. Weighing 9.5 grams, it is printed with thermoplastic polyurethane for the optimal strength and flexibility and matches the original MTC3 footprint but with a lower overall profile. Over a foam bumper the advantages of a FlexBumper are it absorbs hits better and does not transfer them as much into the chassis structure. More robust and sturdy, it always goes back to original shape and don’t drag on the floor after a crash.

Kyosho Inferno MP11 1:8 Buggy

Following the showing of a ‘Prototype’ Inferno MP11 at the recent 25th anniversary of the Kyosho Masters, the Japanese manufacturer has released official images of their new 1:8 Buggy kit offering. The first full model change since the MP10 launched in January 2019, while continuous updates have kept the MP10 updated, the MP11 takes a leap forward with an all-new design. Key changes include a newly developed main chassis, revised suspension and drivetrain systems, and an all-new body — all engineered for elite racing performance. One of the most significant changes is the revised front/rear weight distribution. With a more front-biased balance compared to the MP10, the MP11 delivers remarkably smooth handling that reduces driver stress. Coupled with optimised suspension geometry, the MP11 also achieves higher cornering speeds. The range of adjustable settings has been greatly expanded, and workability has been significantly improved — critical advantages for adapting to different track sizes and surfaces around the world. The MP11 also debuts a completely redesigned body and a new rear wing with matching wing stays, offering high-level aerodynamic performance perfectly tuned to the chassis.

Roche Rapide P12V2 Graphite Main Chassis Set

Roche has released a new optional Graphite Main Chassis Set for their Rapide P12V2 1:12 race kit that includes a matching carbon fibre chassis and aluminium battery tray. The new chassis is designed to work with a new 2.5mm aluminium battery tray with Roche recommending it for low to medium traction outdoor asphalt tracks, or low traction carpet tracks. The chassis is produced from high grade graphite with a CNC machined chamfer edge on rear side to reduce chassis scrubbing in high speed corners. Also new for the P12V2 is +2 Graphite Rear Pod Link Brace. Increasing toe-in angle of the side link, it provides more in-corner steering and speed.

Xray X8 ‘Short’ Carbon Electronics Plate

Xray has introduced for its X8 electric powered 1:8 4WD pan car this Short Carbon Electronics Plate intended to holds all electronics in one place and be part of the uniform flex system. The electronics plate is used to control rear end chassis flex by adding or removing O-rings on the preinstalled steel bushings and can be adjusted from soft up to stiff. The short version is for a smaller speedo and electronics and it allows you to move electronics & batteries more rearwards. The Electronics Plate is CNC-machined from premium high-grade made in the USA carbon fibre.

2025 IFMAR 1:10 Offroad Worlds – Stage 2 Report

The Stage 2 report for the 1:10 Offroad World Championships which take place in Sydney, Australia, later this year has been published by IFMAR. The report outlines a more comprehensive time schedule for the Hills Off Road RC track hosted event that takes place in the North West of Sydney, Australia, from the 29 September with 2WD Registration day and opening ceremony and runs until October 6th when the 4WD World Champion will be decided. October 7 & 8th are designated rain days with the Banquet Dinner also listed for the 8th October. Another notable update is the list of officials which now lists two Race Directors with American Tim Caporal joining Australian Clive Silva in the role. Greg Cribbin fills the role of Technical Director, Gerard Elias is head Time Keeper, while the Race Referees will be Dan Maher, IFMAR President Eric Anderson, and FEMCA President Leonard Kee. FlySky FS-G7P+ Transmitter

New from radio manufacturer FlySky comes their latest medium tier surface transmitter, the FS-G7P+. The new gets some hardcore upgrades and a redefining control experience. Increasing from 7 to 10 channels to unlock advanced effortless playability with more complex models. In terms of performance it gets a boost in the form of doubling the memory from 256KB to 512KB with this expanded storage capacity supporting future upgrades and extended functionality. The radio set gets upgraded from FS-R7P to Standard FS-R11P 11-channel receiver, enabling full PWM channel usage without external expanders. Another upgrade is the now standard High-Density Foam competition grade Steering grip for superior comfort and precision. A redesigned interface delivers intelligent control elements that appear precisely when required.
