Schumacher Vibe TC Touring Car

New from British manufacturer Schumacher comes the new Vibe TC which is a competitive 1:10 4WD Touring Car race chassis aimed at the club racer. Its modern design includes all the features and set up adjustments of high end racers, in an affordable package. Schumacher say the Vibe TC is durable and simple to maintain. Alloy shocks with purple anodised adjusters, UJ driveshaft’s, purple alloy transmission and layshaft mounts feature as standard equipment in the kit. Strong and flexible S2 chassis and top deck makes the Vibe TC easy to drive, and tuneable for whatever track you decide to race on. Currently taking pre-orders, the new kit is due Mid July.

New from US charger cable producer Amped Up RC comes two new charger leads. Made with 10 awg wire, and measure 24″ in length, the 2s/4s lead plugs directly into your charger and 2s OR 4s battery, combining traditionally separate leads into one convenient package, it is designed to save racers: time, hassle, space, and money. The 4s Balanced Charger Lead is designed to work with the “Gens Ace” style 5 prong balance connector, as well as the plug in JST-XH style balance connector. Ideal for those that run E-Buggy and E-Truggy using “Gens Ace” style batteries. Both leads are covered in all black mesh sheathing and made with dual wall adhesive heat shrink for durability.

Awesomatix A800FXR Top Deck Long

As part of their latest option parts release, Awesomatix has introduced a new top deck option for its A800FXR 1:10 Frontie Touring Car. The ‘Top Deck Long’ offers the possibility to change the flex characteristics of the car. Covering all its Touring Car they are now also offering new Rear Body Holder Extension. Shifting the P64 Rear Body Holder 9mm back, the extension is useful for LMH body shells and “long” body shells in general. Also in the release is a 225mm High-Performance Low Friction Drive Belt for A800FX/A800FX Evo/A800FXR. Finally there is a new Titanium Ball Stud set containing 25 ballstuds which replaces the kit steel ball studs in your A800. With the kit standard steel set weighting 19.3 grams, the titanium sets comes in at 11.2 grams.

Ronnefalk takes 4th European 1:8 Nitro Buggy title

David Ronnefalk is the new EFRA 1:8 Nitro Buggy European Champion, the Swede taking his fourth title in the category and bringing it back to Xray whose last title in the category also came in Portugal back in 2018. Racing at the upcoming eBuggy World Championship track of Barcelos Buggy Arena, it was defending back to back Champion Juan Carlos Canas who secured the TQ topping three of the 5 qualifiers. Chasing his first ever European Nitro title, reigning World Champion opened qualifying with a TQ run before ending up P2 ahead of Ronnefalk, who was fastest in Q4. Behind Mugen Seiki’s Berkan Kilic secured P4 with former 2-time Champion Elliot Boots completing the Top 5 for Sworkz. Winning the faster of the two Semi Finals it was Ongaro’s Team Associated which lined up on pole for the final ahead of Canas, winner of his Semi, and Robert Batlle, the Sworkz driver having a good Semi final to finish 2nd behind Ongaro having qualified 10th. Recovering from a bad start to his Semi, Ronnefalk would line up P5 behind Burak Kilic. In the final a mistake by Ongaro while under pressure from the fast starting Ronnefalk, handed the former World Champion a lead he wouldn’t give up. Towards the end Ongaro put in a charge setting the fastest lap but he was 3-seconds shy of the elusive first European title as Ronnefalk added a record fourth title, his last having also been at the Barcelos track in 2022. A mistake by Canas ended his hopes of three in a row, the Spaniard completing the podium 7-seconds up on fellow countryman Batlle.

Infinity IF15-2 Shock Update kits

Hot on the heals of their recent 1:10 Nitro Touring Car European Championship win with Dario Balestri, World Champions Infinity have announced the release of several new update parts developed specifically for the IF15-2 platform. Based on feedback from the team, the shocks for the IF15-2 have been updated. This update enhances overall grip and improves drivability across all speed ranges. The update includes newly developed shock pistons, newly developed shock plastic parts and newly developed shock shafts. The new 4-hole pistons are designed to provide more damping at higher piston speeds, resulting in a more stable car behaviour and improved drivability. The total hole area is the same as the 2 × 1.1 mm or 3 × 0.9 mm pistons, making it easier to quantify and tune your setup. Newly develop Sock plastic parts means damper ends now feature a flanged design, and the spring retainer system has been revised to allow for an additional 2 mm of stroke.

Shenzhen based electronics manufacturer XC Technology has, under its XC-ESC brand, released their new E6Max 3-8S ESC which is engineered for 1:6, 1:7, and 1:8 vehicles. The latest speed controller XC-ESC, who have sponsored the annual SIGP Offroad Race in Xiamen and the upcoming eSIC Touring Car Race in Singapore, is about delivering big current. Equipped with 18 oversized MOSFETs for massive current handling with it capable of 550A of continuous output. Supports up to 8S LiPo for maximum voltage potential. With 25A Built-in High BEC, it has selectable voltage outputs of 6V, 7.4V, and 8.4V ensuring full support for high-performance servos and accessories. A Smart Cooling System means the fan remains off under low temperatures and is automatically activates when a preset temperature is reached, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and extended battery life. Built-in Bluetooth means no programming box/card is required and parameter setting , firmware upgrade and data log can be controlled on the XC-Link Mobile App.

T-Works RC10 4WD Alu Steering Bellcrank

T-Works has released an Aluminium Steering Bellcrank set for the retro RC10 4WD Buggy kit from Team Associated which was released earlier this year. Machine from lightweight aluminium alloy material it is lighter than original standard kit supplied Bellcrank and also offers enhanced durability. Additionally T-Worls has also added front and rear 12mm Aluminium Hex Adapters to its line-up of RC10 4WD option parts. The lightweight aluminium alloy hexs offer a further weight reduction.
