Weissbauer & Mächler win at South German regionals

A round of the South German Indoor regionals was held this past weekend at the SLR Ingolstadt club. Thimo Weissbauer would take a dominant TQ in the Touring Modified class from Viktor Wilck in second and Frederik Südhoff in third. In the triple A-mains both Thimo and Frederik would battle for the overall win with each having scored a win and a second place before the third and decisive A-main. In leg three Thimo held everything together to take a second leg win some 2.7 seconds in front of Frederik to grab the overall win. Frederik came in second from Viktor Wilck who scored a 4-4-3 in the finals which let him end tie on points with Dominik Fleischmann but the better tie-breaker handed the Swede the final podium spot.
