Capricorn 804 Centre Weight

New from Capricorn comes this new Centre Weight which is a technical detail for their 804 1:8 Onroad chassis. Designed to optimise mass distribution and further lower the centre of gravity, the carbon plate features a thin outer contour, while the 80 gram brass weight is fully embedded into the carbon, sitting perfectly flush and as low as possible on the chassis.  This solution maintains the full flexibility of the chassis, adding weight in the most neutral area of our 804, without altering the car’s dynamic behavior while enhancing overall responsiveness.  The result is a compact, flexible and clean assembly, improving stability and precision under all track conditions.  The new design also allows the weight to be rotated 180°, thanks to the upper housing for two additional tungsten plates, allowing the mass to be shifted forward or backward, adding 13.5 grams per side, for a total of +27 grams where extra balance is needed.
