Antonelli & Ocon enjoy RC at Japanese Grand Prix

Fresh from his first Grand Prix win, Mercedes F1 driver Kimi Antonelli and Haas F1’s Esteban Ocon built up to this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix with some RC action thanks to former 1:8 Buggy World Champion and legendary Kyosho chassis designer Yuichi Kanai.  Bringing RC to the Suzuka circuit each year has become a bit of a tradition for Kanai with Ocon always happy to take Kyosho’s latest 1:8 Nitro Buggy for a few runs on the main straight.  While last year he was joined by Oliver Bearman and Lewis Hamilton the year before, this year he was joined by Antonelli who is an RC fan and is regularly seen testing 1:8 Nitro Onroad alongside legend of the sport and 9-time World Champion Lamberto Collari at his track in Italy.   In short videos of the F1 duo racing the MP11, the pair are seen fully enjoying the experience their laughs some of the best promote for the hobby and sport of RC racing with onlookers also enjoying the show of some donuts.
