Best known for its extensive battery chargers SkyRC has added to its growing range off racing accessories with the release of the LapWiz RC Lap Timing & Performance System.   LapWiz brings professional-grade lap timing, race management and performance analysis to racers and clubs in a compact, portable package.  Using high-sensitivity IR technology, the system delivers fast and reliable lap detection for both indoor and outdoor tracks while supporting real-time timing, voice race announcements, Shadow Run training, wireless big-screen casting and cloud race records.  Available with multiple transponder options including Standard, Enhanced, Battery-Powered, and Mini-Z versions, LapWiz is designed to suit everything from casual backyard practice to competitive club racing.  Combined with the SkyRC app, racers can manage events, track performance, compare results and share race data with ease.  Powered by two AA batteries, LapWiz delivers up to 300 hours of race time.  The status LED automatically turns off after 3 minutes of inactivity while maintaining the connection for a seamless user experience.  A programmable auto power-off function further reduces power consumption and helps maximise battery life.
