Futura 1:10 Formula Kit

A brand that was created by Italy’s Mikimodel after three years of its ‘Special Parts’ production, Futura presents its first ever full kit with the release of an 1:10 Formula car.  In development for almost a year, it has been designed with a strong focus on optimal weight distribution and highly efficient vehicle dynamics.  The rear carbon fibre pod plates, combined with aluminium mounting points, help reduce unsprung mass, improving weight distribution and rear-end responsiveness.  The pod plates are connected by a composite brace specifically designed to maintain alignment without excessively increasing stiffness, allowing a controlled amount of rear flex to enhance traction and cornering grip.  The rear wing mount features 6 adjustment positions, enabling precise aerodynamic load tuning according to track conditions and setup requirements.

The chassis incorporates two dedicated ballast mounting areas, one beneath the centre battery and another beneath the servo, allowing fine tuning of weight distribution through optional ballast plates.  The central pivot assembly is also manufactured from carbon fiber and has been specifically engineered to maximise the smooth operation of the side links, ensuring exceptionally free and consistent suspension movement.  The side links are mounted on carbon supports featuring two different mounting positions and adjustable height settings, providing a wide range of setup possibilities.  The steering system offers three Ackermann settings, complemented by two additional steering knuckle positions, allowing drivers to tailor steering response to suit driving style and track layout.

The front suspension features an easy-to-use camber adjustment system with interchangeable inserts providing 0.5°, 1°, 1.5°, and 2° camber options. The fixed carbon front arms eliminate the need for adjustable turnbuckles, maximizing geometric stability and ensuring consistent camber and caster values throughout the entire race.  Caster adjustment is equally straightforward thanks to dedicated interchangeable inserts. The standard configuration is supplied with 7° caster, while 9° and 11° options are also available.  Both the front and rear wings are supplied by Mon-Tech Racing and are already homologated for competitive racing.  The differential system has been developed in collaboration with Fenix Racing.
