Awesomatix A800R 1.5mm Titanium Chassis

Awesomatix has introduced a 1.5mm titanium chassis for its A800R and RR 1:10 Electric Touring Cars.  Made from the strongest-grade titanium, this chassis version weighs 108 grams offering a great alternative to their heavier 140 grams Steel chassis (~140 grams) in Blinky classes.  This option allows racers to get closer to the minimum weight where big battery packs, over 290 grams, can provide a power advantage.  Moreover this chassis showed remarkable attributes in modified class on US and EU indoor tracks with improved corner speed and forwarded traction being reported during testing.  Six pockets for optional installation of optional tungsten weights allows you to raise the overall chassis weight to 140 grams.  This chassis requires specifically machined screws which are not included and ST237 Damper Spacers or SH0.5mm Shims should be used under D3 / D4 Dampers.  Awesomatix also recommend use of its Lower Bumper with chassis. Awesomatix wish to highlight that some titanium chassis may show machine marks while others don’t.
