Takashima D-13 Titanium Chassis Production

Takashima D-13 has announced that its titanium chassis production has now entered the mass-production stage, following an extended period of development and process refinement.  Compared to spring steel, titanium alloy is considerably more challenging to machine, requiring careful control of the cutting process and production parameters.  After continuously refining its manufacturing process, Takashima D-13 has successfully established a stable production method, allowing titanium chassis plates to be produced in quantity and supplied to the market.  The new titanium chassis plates combine the characteristic low weight and high strength of titanium with a refined chassis flex response, helping to lower the overall centre of gravity while providing improved cornering speed and stability.  These characteristics make titanium an attractive option for racers looking for a different chassis balance, particularly in stock touring car racing.  Like the spring steel chassis, Takashima D-13 provide a black surface finish, giving the titanium chassis a distinctive appearance while adding another visual option to its chassis lineup.  The combination of the titanium material and black finish gives the chassis a clean and premium look that stands out on the track.  Following the successful start of mass production, Takashima D-13 will gradually introduce titanium chassis plates for a range of popular touring car platforms, with the first 4 models, the Mi10, A800RR,SP2, and MS2.0, now moving into production and delivery.
