Xray X1’27 1:10 Formula 1

XRAY has unveiled details of their 2027 model of its X1 1:10 Formula car which will be available as an Aluminium or Carbon chassis versions for optimised performance on different track surfaces without optional parts. The Carpet-spec Aluminium Version features a 2.0mm aluminium chassis and solid axle while Asphalt-specific Carbon Version features a 2.2mm carbon chassis and gear differential. The X1’s redesigned one-piece chassis works with the new front suspension and features increased rear stiffness for improved stability and traction. The re-engineered front suspension design enables easier ride height, camber gain, and droop adjustments, smoother damping, and more convenient oil refilling. Shorter one-piece front lower arm creates a cleaner and more attractive front suspension design. Narrower carbon arm mount plate improves cornering speed and connects directly to the carbon top deck. The front aluminium top deck mount has been redesigned and matches the new front suspension layout. The relocated carbon POD lower plates move the motor 1.5mm to the right for improved weight balance with bulkheads redesigned to work with the new POD assembly and rear aluminum holder. Other new features of the X1’27 include a new Hudy composite front wing developed with Ehrbar Engineering to deliver outstanding steering response and excellent stability.
