O.S. Speed R21 EURO3 Onroad Engine

O.S. Engines used last weekend’s 64th All Japan Model & Hobby Show.to announce its latest O.S. Speed R21 offering the EURO3. The Japanese manufacturer, who plan to release the new competition engine in November, say they have achieved an overall increase in power output while maintaining the smooth, flat power characteristics of O.S. Speed R21 EURO2. The crankcase features the proven R21 EURO2 crankcase with ceramic bearings while for the crankshaft they have selected the R2105 crankshaft, which features two 4.5 mm diameter tungsten weights with this set-up contributing to improved throttle response. The cylinder liner features a newly designed structure that offers excellent overall balance while the piston is the same as R2106, but it has undergone a special treatment to enhance its resistance to seizure. THE Innerhead features a redesigning of the fin for better heat management with the outerhead retaining the signature black colour of O.S. SPEED with newly designed laser logo. The carburetor features a dust cover to avoid fuel leakage and air in the line with “Dust cover ring”. In addition to a stand alone engine there will be a Combo set that comes with TR03 EFRA2196+MR05.
