JRC Trackside Race Engineering App

New from Australia’s JRC Dynamics comes JRC Trackside, an new app built so that logging every run takes seconds at the track.  It was developed by Jordan Caruso, a two-time RC state champion and TITC A-main finisher, with 18 years of motorsport experience as a state, national and world champion across several racing disciplines. The app keeps lap times, setups, tyres, conditions and the driver’s own feedback in one place, then uses that history to suggest what to change next.  Logging a run is designed to fit between rounds. One tap on Prefill brings back the last run’s car, track, tyres and setup, so the driver only enters what changed. The weather is recorded automatically, and lap times come in from a LiveRC or MYLAPS Speedhive link, or from the results PDF the driver downloads from MyRCM. Setups are filled in on the manufacturer’s own setup sheet, in the layout drivers already know.  Everything logged feeds an AI “Engineer” that drivers can ask in their own words.  Ask “I have understeer mid-corner, what should I change?” and it works from the driver’s own car, setups and lap times, and explains the reason behind each suggestion.  Ask “When did I last change the front spring, and did it help?” and it answers from the driver’s own history: the date, the rating and what the lap times did.  JRC Trackside runs in any web browser at jrcdynamics.com, on phone, tablet or computer, and is also available as an iPhone app on the App Store with new users getting a free 30-day trial.
