Serpent Carbon 990e R Carbon Chassis

Serpent has released this optional Carbon Chassis for their 990e R 1:8 Electric Onroad car.  A direct replacement option for the kit standard aluminium chassis with, the carbon fibre version has been engineered to deliver key advantages with the ​Quasi-Isotropic Carbon Structure, it is manufacturer with a specialised multi-directional layer layup to maximize torsional stiffness and eliminate flex distortion under extreme cornering loads.  The new chassis also sheds 50 grams off compared to the stock aluminium plate for faster acceleration, sharper direction changes, and higher top speeds.  Optimised weight distribution shifts the centre of gravity further to the rear, delivering
enhanced rear traction and superior stability out of corners.
