Perfect Pass RC Diamond 200Mph+ Speed Wheels

All wheels may be round but they are not all equal and Florida based Perfect Pass RC has released their Diamond Wheels and tyre for 200+ mph which it has been developing 18-months.  The premium aluminium speed run wheels feature a 7075 aluminium rim with a proprietary rubber tyre and are built to replace foam wheels on plastic rim for 17mm hex RC cars.  Built for high speed runs, at 200+ mph, a tyre is under 20,000+ Gs of force trying to rip it apart.  Foam tires break down and plastic rims flex and wobble leading to cars getting destroyed so Perfect Pass RC came up with the Diamind Wheel as a solution.  Each rim is meticulously machined from super high quality 7075 aluminium at 97.5 mm OD by 42 mm wide with a tire thickness of 5.75mm.   The tyre is made from a proprietary blend of five specially made rubbers and elastomers that took 18 months to develop a tyre that can take the extreme forces at such high speeds run keeping its shape, rigidity and unmatched traction.  The glue that holds the tyre to the aluminium rim is also their own proprietary technology, and took months and months to develop. It is made to keep the tyre locked to the rim.  The axle hole and the 17mm hex pocket were carefully sized to be as tight as possible, to eliminate vibration, and at the same time big enough to fit most 17mm hex types on the market.  Having tried many blends and for speed runs, 50 Shore was the sweet spot between traction, durability and rigidity.  While 40-45 Shore gave slightly better traction, price was paid with reduced durability while 60-65 Shore felt too slippery and stability was sacrificed.
