Protoform PFR18 1/8th scale body

2011 was a great year for Protoform in the 1/8th IC Nitro On-Road class. Now only did 8 A-Main finalists at the IFMAR WORLDS in Homestead Florida chose the P909 body, but the other 2 A-Main drivers chose the Protoform R15, which ran the quickest lap times of the entire event. In the end, Robert Pietsch brought home the very deserving win and trophy. They decided to incorporate what they felt were the best characteristics of these two world class bodies to create the Protoform PFR18. Loosely modeled after the car that conquered the 24HR of LeMans, this body style has a few tricks of it’s own as well. There are a couple more molded in body stiffening contours to make the body more consistent and the body conforms to the 2012 ERFA/IFMAR body rules in every way. Available in 3 thicknesses, .040 Lexan (regular weight), .030 Lexan (light weight) and .025 Lexan (lightest weight) “Pro-Lite” for the expert racers. This body has a protective outer film, body side-stiffeners (w/hardware) and comes with a large Protoform decal.
