Xray XB9 steering blocks with 10° kingpin

Authentic Xray aluminium steering blocks with 10° kingpin for XB9 are CNC-machined from premium Swiss 7075 T6 aluminum and hard coated for extra durability and long life. Helping increase in-corner steering they are recommended for technical tracks where in-corner steering is needed. These new steering blocks are also 1mm narrower which helps increase the steering. Using the standard wheel hexes, offset is -1mm compared to old steering blocks with standard wheel hexes.

Patrick Nähr wins Rd3 in Southern Germany

Last weekend the 3rd round of the South German Championship took place in Amberg in the East of Bavaria. In total 49 drivers attended this event to score points for the championship. In the 1/10th class Patrick Nähr had a great day with his Sonic powered Velox V10 “twelve”. After he claimed the second place in qualifying he dominated his semi-final finishing 4 laps in front of the rest of the field lining up second on the grid for the main final. After an intense race at the beginning of the final he sneaked away finishing more than one lap in front of Dominic after 30 minutes. Steve Baumgarten completed the podium.

Xceed tire gluing holder

Xceed have released this easy to use tire gluing holder for 1/8th scale offroad tires. The tool holds the tire firmly and creates a good gap to apply the glue safely. Slowly release the lock after and then apply the regular tyre gluing rubber bands. Made from strong surface treated metal, it is engraved with the Xceed logo.

Shepherd have introduced a new accessory to make life easier when you’re trackside, the all new Shepherd pitlane bag. Manufactured from super lightweight high-quality wear-resistant material it’s equipped with a large number of different pockets for various items such as tools, glowstarter, fuel bottle, spare tyres, stop watch and other items that are commonly needed in the pitlane. The main compartment offers enough space for all kinds of starterboxes as well as a fuel can. Extra flexible straps on the outside for a fuel gun ensure that you don’t have to worry about leakage inside the pitlane bag. The reinforced sidewalls are easy to assemble/disassemble and keep all goods safely at their place. When not in use the bag can be folded completely flat for easy transportation and can be fitted into the outside pocket of the Shepherd pit trolley or any other bag. Colored in black with blue stichings and handles it features an embroidered Shepherd ram had and the Shepherd logo on the padded handle.

Sirio XL7 .21 offroad engine

Sirio have released details on their new XL7 .21 engine for the offroad category. The engine features a 5+2 port ABC liner and a new piston alloy to improve performance and durability. The crankshaft sports the ubiquitous silicon insert while an updated crankcase helps to improve cooling. A carburetor with interchangeable venturis, standard steel ball bearings and a lightened cooling head complete the package.

Chris Cristo wins Race For A Cure in Goshen

Last weekend Pin Stop Hobbies presented the Race For A Cure at the Goshen Connecticut Fairgrounds. The race was held in the center of the fairgrounds during the Goshen Stampede, which is a large fair with a rodeo, demolition derby, truck pulling, carnival rides and concerts; more than 10,000 people attended during the three days. The R/C track was built in a grassy area in the middle of everything, with dirt jumps and grass on the level parts of the track, so the fair attendees were constantly watching R/C action. X Factory Team driver Chris Cristo TQ’d and won 1/10 Stadium Truck with his X-60. Cristo took three of the four qualifiers and won the first two A Mains to sew up the title.

New from Answer RC are these new bearing sets for the 1/8th scale offroad market. Assembled from their SP bearing range which feature 1 rubber seal and 1 metal shield to offer the best of both worlds in terms of dirt protection and low drag. Newly added to the range are set for the S-Workz S350 (24pc), JQ The Car (24pc), Agama A8 (24pc), Serpent S811 (26pc) and the Xray XB9 (24pc). Also newly available is their range of 5×10 thrust races which are available with steel or Ceramic Si3N4 Balls and offer excellent value and durability. There is also a 10pk of the steel variety available for cost effective stocking up of this popular size.
