Xray have added a 30T aluminium front/side pulley to their line of option parts for the RX8 1/8th on-road kit. Machined from Swiss 7075-T6 aluminium and coming hard-anodised for wear, the 30T pulley will improve rear traction and steering in high-speed corners and it adds to the existing line of Xray’s RX8 aluminium and composite drivetrain pulleys.

Kyosho have introduced a 5-link conversion kit for the Mad and FO-XX series of off-road trucks. The set contains all needed parts to convert the truck to 5-link specification while also including a 4WD rear steering system and front and rear stabilisers. The set is usable on the Mad Force Kruiser 2.0, FO-XX and the Mad Crusher, however the latter already comes equipped with a 5-link setup. In addition the 4WD conversion and stabiliser sets are also available separately to outfit the EP and GP Mad Force Kruiser 2.0, FO-XX and Mad Crusher trucks.
The warm-up race for the Fall Brawl at Badlands was held this past weekend. Austin Woodyard had a good day in Nitro Truggy as he not only took the TQ but he also walked away with the win in the A-main final. Jake Stikeleather came in 2nd from Colin Hanna 3rd.

The JConcepts Super Cup Championship Series made its way to Ocala, Florida last weekend to Newred Hobbies for round 3 of the 4 round fall series. This unique track is one of Florida’s longest running indoor facilities and will celebrate 15 years of operation next year in 2018. With a history and heritage, Newred has also looked towards the future by evolving with new style wood/carpet jumps making track rebuilds much faster and easier without the need to shape jumps and move large piles of dirt.

The annual Charity Race will be held on the weekend of the 3rd of December at the RC Landia indoor track in Scandiano, Italy. The 2017 edition will see the running of Touring Modified, Touring Stock, Formula and 1/12th Pan Car classes and beside the fastest Italian electric on-road racers, European Pro drivers such as Marc Rheinard, Alexander Hagberg, Ronald Völker, Viktor Wilck, Max Mächler and Francesco Martini made their entry. Like the years before, Team La Gang will hold a charity lottery for the good cause. The German Indoor Masters was held last weekend as part of an annual toy fair and the event saw over 50 entries for 1/8th Nitro On-road and over 30 sign-ins for 1/10th 200mm Nitro. Taking place in Friedrichshafen near the Lake Constance the race attracted drivers from Austria, Germany and Switzerland. In the 1/8th class it was Toni Gruber with the TQ but in the 30-minutes A-main it was Tobias Kerler with the win from B. Gramlich and A. Baier. In the 200mm class Dominic Greiner dominated the event as he took the TQ on Saturday and the race win on Sunday from Diekmann and Gruber in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
BMT from Italy have introduced a set of hard-coated aluminium pivot balls for the front suspension of the 984 and 701 kits. The parts are precisely machined from high-quality aluminium, they come hard-anodised for wear and a smooth surface and at 1.3g they weigh in at only 1/3 of the mass of the standard steel balls.

Round 8 of the Jimmy Babcock Racing League Nitro Series was held at R/C Tracks of Las Vegas with over 170 entries. In the premier Expert Nitro Buggy class it was Mugen’s Adam Drake with the TQ and he would also come out fastest in the Open Nitro Truggy class. However in the 15-minute Expert Buggy main it was Team Associated’s Richard Saxton with the win, coming from the 3 spot in the grid. Adam would end the race on the 2nd place some four seconds behind Richard and only 0.7 seconds in front of Aaron Gomez (Mugen). In the Open Truggy A-main Adam was able to take a dominant win, one lap in front of Team Associated’s A.J. Schumacher and Tekno RC’s Carlos Arredondo in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
