Juan Hidalgo successful at Spanish 200mm Nationals

The Spanish 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring Nationals were held at the Asoger track in Madrid in very hot weather conditions. The high temperatures and prepped track made for a lot of grip changes with Capricorn’s Victor Pelaez making the best out of the conditions as he took the overall TQ and pole position for the main final. Superpole winner Juan Hidalgo (Serpent) also scored a direct entry for the main while all other had to go through the sub finals. In the main final and after a good start Victor was out in front with Juan in 2nd and Sergi Franch and Jonnhy Pastor fighting for the 3rd spot. Later Juan was able to get past Victor in an amazing manoeuvre and from that moment on he never looked back. Unfortunately Victor suffered an engine problem later on making way fro Sergi Franch (Mugen) in 2nd and Jonnhy Pastor (Mugen) 3rd.

TLR 22 4.0 Stiffezel 12mm hex front wheels

Team Losi Racing have introduced new Stiffezel 12mm hex front wheels for the 22 4.0 2WD buggy. Marked with an “S” inside of the wheels, they have been moulded from stiffer composite, which allows the wheel to flex less under higher load. During testing, the team has found these wheels to create more consistency high speed, while adding more steering in longer, high load turns. The wheels fit all 22 buggies with 12mm hexes and they are available in yellow and white colour.

RC Prostyle X1 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis

Coming from RC Prostyle is a 2.25mm carbon fibre chassis set for the Xray X1 formula car. Constructed from high-grade U.S. made carbon fibre the chassis was designed especially for asphalt racing in medium to high-grip conditions. The super-narrow design and raised side links increase ground clearance during cornering which results in less scrubbing and improved corner speed. Included come two types of link plates, one for the standard Xray links and one for shorter 65mm links such as the ones used by Roche or Yokomo – using the shorter links will help gain on-power steering.
