Ronald Völker wins at CTS2 Rd4

Round 4 of CTS2 was held at Hobbytown Fresno, California this weekend and Modified TC was the premier class to watch. With a special guest appearance by team Yokomo driver and reigning World Champion Ronald Volker, he would be the third World Champ to attend the California Touring Series this season. Upon arrival to the track, Volker enjoyed his time with his US comrades and got the chance to meet a lot of his fans in California. Meanwhile as the weekend continued, the Yokomo ace driver showed the way all through practice and race day. Drivers like Eric Albano and Brandon Clements showed really good driving pace to match some of Volker’s hot laps but unable duplicate what Ronald has produced. With a rough start in Q1 for series points leader Team Associated driver Rick Hohwart, he would then complete a stronger qualifier for Q2 which put him in P4 for the show and ended up finishing 3rd in the main while Albano came home in 2nd. Volker controlled the lead from tone to tone in the main taking home a perfect run.
