Lee Martin teams up with Scorpion Power Systems

Scorpion Power Systems have officially announced the signing of UK front runner, Lee Martin to their factory team. The Yokomo driver and former EOS champion had his debut for his new electronics sponsor at last weekend’s EOS finale in Austria. Lee will be using Scorpion’s full line of 1/10th scale brushless motors and speed controllers along the company’s high-performance LiPo battery packs and he had the following to say about the deal:

I’m proud to announce that I have joined Scorpion Power Systems for this year and beyond. Having met Georges in person a little while back, I could already feel that his passion and pride in his company was second to none. Being able to work directly with the factory will give us both the opportunity to push the boundaries and achieve great things together. Using the electrics at last weekends EOS for the first time was already a great indication of things to come as they ran faultlessly and felt great! Thanks to Georges for opportunity to work together.

Team Associated B64 FT adjustable CF bellcrank arm

Team Associated have introduced the Factory Team adjustable graphite bellcrank arm for the B64 line of 1/10th 4WD buggies. Using the arm adds more steering options to the buggy as moving the ball stud into different hole locations allows the driver to adjust the rate of the steering rack. The forward hole has the quickest, most responsive steering feel while the middle hole is stock ball stud location. Rear hole will be less responsive, giving the numbest feel, by slowing down the steering rack rate. The arm is machined from high-quality graphite laminate and it is a direct replacement for the stock arm.
