T-Works BD7/8 steering limiter screw sets

T-Works have introduced three steering limiter screw sets for the Yokomo BD8 and BD7’16 and ’15 kits. Machined from aluminium, coming black anodised and with silver details the parts directly attach to the steering assembly of Yokomo’s latest touring car kits and they help to create defined and wobble-free mechanical steering limiting. Available are three sets including 7mm to 8.5mm diameter screws, 7mm to 10mm or 9mm to 10mm limiters.

ProStar B6 titanium hinge pin set

Coming from ProStar R/C and made for Team Associated’s B6 series of buggies is a titanium hinge pin set. The 8-piece kit replaces the stock parts with high-quality Grade 5 titanium upgrades that will not rust or break. Included are four 3x34mm front bulkhead pins as well as two 3x26mm and two 3.5x48mm shafts and the kit is available now.

Team Titan carbon fibre 1/8th on-road body stiffeners

Team Titan have introduced the Blitz carbon fibre bodyshell stiffeners for 1/8th on-road bodies. The 5-piece set includes two front, two centre and a large rear stiffener. All are specially shaped with thin upper and side sections but reinforced bends to allow for high rigidity yet a light weight. The parts are usable with the Blitz 1/8th on-road bodies and also many other brands and they come including a set of lightweight bolts for easy mounting.

JConcepts driver commemorative racing stripe shirts

Coming from JConcepts are the driver commemorative racing stripe T-shirts. An off-shoot of the original racing stripes T, the newly designed version pops with flare in the new factory team driver colours. The shirt hosts the JConcepts.net logo and original tag line, World Proven Innovation and Design and features Ryan Maifield’s pink, white and blue colours, Ryan Cavalieri’s red, blue and yellow stripes or David Ronnefalk’s green, yellow and orange tones. All shirts are made of 100 percent cotton material and they come in M to XXXL adult sizes.

Capricorn C803 short front wishbone set

Coming from Capricorn and made for the C803 1/8th on-road car is a new short lower wishbone set. The arms are shorter but use longer supports to maintain the given track width.  Using them makes for an updated dynamic camber change which can be beneficial in certain track conditions. Included with the set come the new lower A-arms, arm mounts, suspension shafts and grub screws.

Tekno NB48.4 1/8th nitro buggy kit

Following the introduction of the EB48.4 a few weeks back, Tekno now also revealed the revamped NB48 platform. The latest .4 kit features a new CNC-machined 7075 aluminium chassis with improved wear characteristics, a revised steering geometry and Ackermann plate, a bearing supported spindle and carrier design, a revised wide rear pivot suspension geometry as well as new universal driveshafts for a more efficient drivetrain. Other changes include CNC-machined 4×1.9mm flat/flat delrin pistons and rod guides, aluminium bleeder shock caps to allow building emulsion, vented and non-vented shocks as well as new low-frequency shock springs and a fighter yet inspired bodyshell.

Futaba O.S. Speed Tuned high-performance servos

Futaba have introduced a special line of “O.S. Speed Tuned”-branded servos for 1/8th and 1/10th scale applications to celebrate the two company’s long-running collaboration. First up is the Speed T1 BLS571SV (0.08s/11kg-cm) low profile servo for 1/10th touring car and off-road classes. It offers hardened gears, ceramic ball bearings and aluminium top and middle sections. Next up is the Speed R1 BLS371SV (0.10s/19kg-cm), a standard-size servo for 1/8th on-road applications featuring hybrid gears, ceramic bearings and an aluminium upper case and middle section. Last but not least is the Speed B1 S9373SV (0.06s/24.6kg-cm), an all-alloy case servo for buggy racing, again with hybrid gears and ceramic bearings. All servos are high-voltage compatible and they come in a special red and black anodised design and with dark-toned servo leads.

Aaron Stringer doubles at Pine Hills race

The recent Pine Hills race saw Mugen’s Aaron Stringer walking away with a double win in the Nitro Buggy and Nitro Truggy classes. Aaron would grab the top qualifying honours in Buggy while Mitch McCallum (Kyosho) went fastest after the qualifiers in Truck. The Buggy final then saw Aaron bringing home the win from Mitch McCallum and Alex Bernadzik (Team Associated) in second and third respectively. In Truggy it was again Aaron who walked away with the hardware while Caleb Noble (Mugen) and Mitch McCallum (Mugen) had to settle for second and third.
