Fenix ball diff & other pan car option parts

Fenix Racing have introduced their new formula car ball differential as well as other optional for pan and formula cars. Starting with the ball diff, the assembly uses a 1/4″ Grade 5 titanium axle shaft, triple ball bearings and its design takes axial load away from the bearings for improved durability and higher crash resistance as there is no contact between the ball bearings and the thrust race. The 16-ball diff also features triple disc springs, it utilises a 64 pitch 84T CNC-machined main gear and it weighs in at only 38g.

Tamiya set for re-re-release galore at Nuremberg fair

Tamiya is set for some re-release galore at the forthcoming 2017 International Toy Fair in Germany with the official introduction of the 2017 Bigwig 4WD re-release buggy being only the peak of the iceberg. The iconic Japanese company will also present the re-release of the Candy Green Grasshopper, which is a re-re-release if you will as the green hopper was already a re-release of the original – white – 1984 Grasshopper. Also coming are the CC-01-based Mitsubishi Pajero Metaltop Wide, the GF-01 Metal Dump Truck will make a return as does the XV-01 longer damper chassis kit. Just in is also the unofficial announcement of the (re-)re-release of the already re-released (back in 2005) 1991 Top Force 4WD buggy.

Francesco Tironi teams up with Xtreme Aerodynamics

Xtreme Aerodynamics have announced the addition of Francesco Tironi to their factory team. Francesco will equip his XRD-powered Infinity vehicles with the Italian manufacturer’s bodyshells in both the 1/8th and 200mm classes for 2017. A former Worlds podium finisher, Tironi will face a busy 2017 season taking part at the Italian nationals, the EFRA GP series, Worlds, Euros and select ENS races.

Yeah Racing Sakura D4 steering & suspension upgrade kit

Yeah Racing’s pink-themed steering and suspension upgrade kit for the 3Racing Sakura D4 is soon also available in black colour. Like the pink-coloured set the stealthy black variant includes highly adjustable suspension and steering upgrade parts such as steering knuckles with adjustable KPI, front and rear suspension arms with stepped track width adjustment feature which allows to fine-tune the steering responsiveness according to the grip levels, and the upper front links allows for caster adjustment through a simple hole change. The alloy parts are made from 7075 aluminium, they come black anodised, with silver chamfered edges and the kit also includes select drivetrain parts such as front CV-style driveshafts.

HPI Savage XL Flux 1/8th electric monster truck

Coming from HPI Racing is the new Savage XL Flux 1/8th scale ready-to-run electric-powered monster truck. Building on the proven Savage truck backbone, the XL Flux features a long wheelbase 2.5mm aluminium TVP chassis, a sturdy all-metal 4WD drivetrain with super heavy-duty dogbones, quick release front and rear differentials, a long-travel suspension with multiple shock mounting positions as well as 17 wheel hex hubs. To this add a 2200kv brushless motor, a 6S LiPo-compatible speed controller and a 2.4GHz radio system. The kit is rounded out by grippy all-terrain tyres on chrome wheels and a pre-painted and pre-decorated pick-up truck body.

Xray XT2 stadium truck wheels

Coming from Xray and made for the XT2 stadium truck are white Aerodisc wheels. Moulded using a flexible yet durable material the rims are a direct fit for the XT2 truck and they are usable with all current stadium truck tyres. Inner reinforcing ribs make for a sturdy construction and the 12mm rims, that comes as pairs, are also usable with other brand’s trucks.

Capricorn TE-03 progressive shock springs

Capricorn have announced the release of progressive shock springs for the TE-03 electric touring car. Made for the kit’s big bore shock absorbers the springs increase in hardness during compression, making for improved steering without compromising mid-corner rotation. The black-colour springs come in sets of two.

Bittydesign M410 touring car body – Teaser images

Italian company Bittydesign have released more images of their forthcoming M410 bodyshell for 190mm touring cars. It is understand that the body was designed to be the weapon of choice for asphalt and carpet, fast and technical tracks and it will be officially unveiled on Friday the 3rd of February.
