Made for Muchmore’s line of Fleta ZX modified motors is the V2 12.0x5x23.0mm optional rotor. Named Modified Maximum Mild, Muchmore’s smallest diameter and shortest modified rotor yet is best used in 5.5T to 8.5T low-grip off-road or 3.5T to 5.5T touring carpet applications while also excelling on big on-road tracks and in 3.5T 1S on-road racing. The small diameter and short length make for smooth acceleration and braking with exceptional high-speed performance. The rotor comes marked for easy identification and it fits all Muchmore Fleta ZX modified motors.

Yeah Racing Typhoon Signal 10 40mm fan

Yeah Racing have a new high-performance fan unit available, the Typhoon Signal 10 Master Competition. Named after the strongest hurricane level in the Saffir Simpson Scale the 40mm unit is high-voltage compatible, allowing to use it with up to 8.4V input, it is dual ball-raced, comes with highly heat-resistant black silicone wires and a Futaba-style connector.

Spektrum DX5R 5-channel DSMR radio system

Spektrum have introduced the new DX5R 5-channel DSMR radio system. The transmitter’s ergonomics are inspired by the DX6R and it allows to adjust the trigger and steering tension, trigger position, wheel drop down setting and also grip sizes. With the help of optional parts also the steering wheel angle and steering wheel diameter are customisable to suit the driver’s needs. The DX5R makes use of Spektrum’s intuitive SimpleScroll programming interface for quick and easy adjustments, it offers up to five drive modes per mode, programming for AVC compatible receivers, programmable mixes, ABS and 4-wheel steering as well as dual rate and expo settings. Built-in telemetry makes monitoring the car’s vital signs easy while the 5.5 millisecond fame rate ensures fast and consistent car control. The radio comes including the SR6000T telemetry receiver and it will hit stores soon.

Maclan sign Chui & Lo to their factory team

Maclan Racing have announced the signing of two new factory team drivers in Hong Kong. Keith Chui and Ivan Lo are both front runners in the Hong Kong on-road community. Both drivers participated in a lot of developmental testing of Maclan’s MMax Pro ESC and the two will be running Maclan Racing ESCs and motors in the 2017 season.

Hobbywing V10 G2 titanium-bonded rotor

Coming from Hobbywing and made for the V10 G2 series of 540-size brushless motors is the titanium-bonded 5-12.5-U-T rotor. The replacement rotor will provide smoother acceleration in modified classes without loosing top speed, helping especially on lower traction surfaces where a quicker and more efficient acceleration out of corner can be achieves. The rotor was used with great success by Bruno Coelho and Nicholas lee and it is available now.

Cody King NitroPro fuelled for 2017 and beyond

NitroPro Fuel have welcomed US frontrunner and former 1/8th Nitro Buggy World Champion, Cody King to their team. Cody will be running NitroPro fuel for the 2017 season and beyond and he has the following to say:

Reds Racing sign Dakotah Phend

Reds Racing have announced the signing of multiple ROAR champion Dakotah Phend to their factory team for the 2017 and 2018 season. The former Team Orion nitro factory team driver will be using Reds Racing nitro engines and will be attending all major nitro off-road events. Dakotah had this to say:
