Dynamite Speedtreads 1/8th & 1/10th MT tyres

Horizon Hobby have introduced five new pre-mounted Dynamite tyre sets for 1/8th and 1/10th scale monster trucks. Starting with the 1/8th scale variants, the Speedtreads Devices and Neutralizor tyres come on Losi LST compatible dish rims with 20mm hex drive and they offer grippy treads with the Devices being a pin-type design while the Neutralizor is a road/multi-surface offering. The tyres include low rebound foam inserts and they feature white sidewall lettering for cool looks and easy identification.

Yeah Racing Sakura D4 steering & suspension upgrade kit

Yeah Racing have introduced the steering and suspension upgrade kit for the 3Racing Sakura D4 drift car. The set includes highly adjustable suspension and steering upgrade parts, besides some drivetrain goodies, with the steering knuckles feature adjustable KPI, offset and Ackermann and they allow for Ackermann or parallel setups. The front and rear suspension arms also feature a stepped track width adjustment which allows to fine-tune the steering responsiveness according to the grip levels. The upper front link also caster adjustment through a simple hole change for large changes and a minor step adjustment for small caster changes. The alloy parts are made from 7075 aluminium, they come pink anodised and the set is available for pre-order now.

Hudy 1/8th on-road car bag

Hudy have introduce a dedicated car bag for 1/8th on-road cars. Made from high-quality materials and coming with inner reinforcements and a dedicated inner pocket for the manual and setup sheets the bag takes a single 1/8th on-road car including bodyshell. A rubber strap allows to attach the bag to Hudy’s travel bag while padded walls keep the internals protected from the stress or transportation and travel.

Tamiya USA clarify future of the TRF brand

Following a first statement from Tamiya Japan on the future of TRF, Tamiya USA shed more light on the destiny of the iconic brand. Reading the latest statement and breaking it down to its core information it is understood that Tamiya will continue to produce kits under the Tamiya Racing Factory brand although it will take some time until definite results, in whatever form, may surface.

Lastly, rumors about Tamiya stopping its TRF brand and activities have been circulating within the hobby racing community. However, our most devoted fans must rest assured that Tamiya will continue the development of its TRF products and its activities, albeit in a different way.

Robert Batlle’s major sponsor shake-up for 2017 continues as he has announced Team Corally as his new electronics sponsors. The Spanish frontrunner will use Team Corally products such as motors and speed controllers with his campaign starting at this week’s season-opening event in Padova, Italy. Robert has the following to say:

Xray XT2 graphite lower A-arms

Coming from Xray and made for the XT2 stadium truck are graphite lower A-arms. Moulded using a specially formulated composite material the suspension arms offer increased stiffness compared to the already available medium and hard arms, optimising the truck’s performance especially on high and very high bite surfaces. The arms are of a symmetrical design, allowing to use them on the left and right hand side of the truck and they are available separately for the front and rear end.
