Serpent S120 LTR 1/12th scale kit

Serpent S120 LTR 1/12th scale kit

Serpent introduce the S120 LTR kit, the latest incarnation of the company’s popular 1/12th scale platform. The refined car features an updated front end with better adjustability and a new, innovation rear centre pivot system. Starting with the front end, the LTR features new upper arms and updated steering blocks that do away with the horizontal upper pivot ball in favour of a more standard looking system that allows for easier kingpin angle changes using inserts. Going to the rear end the LTR sports a totally new central pivot system that mounts to the rear upper brace rather than the main chassis as with most of today’s link-type cars. The design is meant to do away with binding issues while creating improved sidelink action. Along with the updated rear end design goes a new shape chassis and rear lower pod plate that allows to run the side springs in an inner or an out position. The kit is rounded out by a new centre shock bracket, new low centre of gravity rear pod brackets and it will become available by mid-February.
