Serpent have announced the soon release of the F110 SF2 1/10th formula kit. The pan car will sport a redesigned chassis, a completely new front end, an innovative rear pivot system and a new longer centre shock absorber along a new front and rear aero package.

RDRP B5 lightweight heatsink motorplate

New from Revolution Design Racing Products comes the B5 lightweight heatsink motorplate for the Team Associated B5 buggy. The part is a direct replacement for the standard motor plate on the B5, B5M and T5M and it sports an updated design with machined cooling fins that reduce the weight and improve cooling without sacrificing rigidity. The closed design keeps dirt out of the pinion and main gear area allowing to run the part in every racing condition. The motorplate is cut from aircraft quality 7075-T6 aluminium and it comes blue anodised and laser etched to match with the remainder of RDRP’s Team Associated option parts.

VBC Racing Wildfire ARTS rear suspension kit

VBC Racing introduce the ARTS Active Rear Toe System for the rear suspension of the Wildfire line of 1/10th electric touring cars. Including new rear lower A-arms, 2 degree alloy C-hubs, steering knuckles and mounting hardware the set allows to adjust the amount of rear toe gain or loss during cornering for improved stability in corners and better top speed on the straights. The kit is usable on the original Wildfire, the Ghost, D06 and the current D07.

Italian company Max Airbrush introduce the Magma V1.0 bodyshell for the Xray XB8 buggy. Made from clear polycarbonate material the body adapts the unique look of the company’s Magma design in order to create a new look for the XB8. Both material and shape ensure a good amount of robustness while a special shape around the engine’s cooling area provided sufficient cooling.

Team C have new aluminium spring retainers for their 1/10th on-road cars available. The parts come CNC-machined from high-quality material, they are orange anodised to match the remainder of the alloy parts and they fit both the TC10 and TR10.

ARC R8.0 1/8th nitro on-road kit

ARC introduce the R8.0 1/8th scale nitro on-road kit. Developed over a period of 18 month and under racing conditions, the newly designed car is based on a slim aluminium chassis and it features bulkheads made from 7075-T6 aluminium for high precision and optimised strength. The transmission parts are manufactured from heat-treated spring steel to minimise wear and maintenance needs while the belt pulleys are designed in a way that they do not need additional adapters to fit on their respective shafts which makes for a much lighter drivetrain. Moulded from high quality composite material the pulleys are also available in a Kevlar variant for improved durability, a lower weight and increased transmission smoothness. The gearbox package is rounded out by module 0.8 spur and pinion gears that allow for high efficiency without sacrificing durability.

Robin D’Hondt joins BMT

Robin D'Hont joins BMT

Italian company BMT have announced the signing of Robin D’Hondt to their team. Robin will use the BMT 984 1/8th scale car after being with Motonica for six years and he has the following to say about the deal:

To begin with I would like to thank Maurizio Ficcadenti for the cooperation over the last 6 years with him and Motonica. It was time for me to go a new way and in in this I choose to drive the BMT 984 car next season. I have already built the car and I am very content with the quality of the product as well I am sure to have a good cooperation with Pasquale Iuliucci who I wish to thank for this opportunity. [I am] Feeling confident to start the new season.
