P1 Brand Speed Corps trucker hat

P1 Brand now have their Speed Corps trucker hat available. It sports a black on black Speed Corps flag on the front and a Speed Corps button on the back. Featuring an embroidered twill patch sewn onto the front panel, this all black beauty also employs mesh side panels to keep your head nice and cool. One size fits most, thanks to the adjustable, snapback closure. Available in a traditional, high profile fit, which measures 5″ from bill to crown, and the included one-inch button rounds out the detailing.

Cragg doubles at Worksop Indoor Masters

Round 4 of the Schumacher sponsored 2013/14 Worksop Indoor Off Road Masters took place last weekend. Team Associated’s Neil Cragg was the driver to beat in both the 2WD and 4WD buggy class and at the end of the weekend he had both class wins under his belt. Joining him on the podium of the 4WD class where Team Durango’s Chris Doughty and Nathan Waters (Schumacher) while elsewhere in 2WD Craig Collinson (Team Durango) and Richard Lowe (X Factory) finished second and third respectively.

AKA Typo 1/10th truck tyre

AKA introduce the Typo 1/10th stadium truck tyre. Just like the buggy variant the truck Typo sports a very low tread pattern that has been optimised for hard-packed indoor tracks and low dust, grooved outdoor tracks. The tyre is now available in AKA’s Clay compound and while the standard Super Soft compound will hit the stores beginning of February. Included with each pair come AkA’s red inserts.

Kyosho Plazma LM Mazda 787B

Available soon is Kyosho’s Mazda 787B based on the Plazma LM 1/12th scale pan car chassis. The kit is based on the Plazma Ra 1/12th competition chassis and features a long wheelbase FRP chassis, aluminium front suspension parts, alloy dampers and motor mount, as well as ball races, grippy foam tyres and it comes with a G20 brushed motor. Included are also one clear and one pre-painted Mazda 787B Le Mans body shell that resemble the monstrous Group C cars who attended at the 1991 24 Hours Le Mans race. Not included are the radio system, speed controller and battery.

Spec-R BD-7 black spool & universal battery mount

Spec-R have a new black colour front spool for Yokomo’s BD-7 touring car as well as a universal velcro battery mount available. Starting with the spool, the part is also available in a blue colour version and it features new ver.2 lightweight hardened steel outdrives for a lowered weight and added rigidity. It sports laser-etched markings and is a direct replacement for the stock spool. Also new is a universal velcro battery mount. Making use of widely adjustable carbon fibre brackets, aluminium mounts and a Spec-R branded hock and loop strap the quick release battery mount should fit a wide range of touring car chassis from different brands.

Sweep Jilles Groskamp signature edition car stand

Sweep introduce this Jilles Groskamp signature edition on-road car stand for 1/10 and 1/12th scale chassis. It is made from aluminium and comes in a bright blue colour that perfectly matches with the iconic “Tamiya blue” anodising of Tamiya TRF chassis. The stand sports a small footprint, a low 24mm profile and four rubber feet make for a secure stand even on slippery pit boards.

LMR Avior 2-piece buggy rear wing

LMR introduce the Avior 1/10 2-piece buggy rear wing. The second wing designed by LMR features design cues seen on the company’s Electra wing but now the centre section has been moulded flat so that it can house the 2nd piece of the wing. This small duct wing acts to force air onto the rear gurney when at speed and has proved to make the car feel very controllable at high speeds when sometimes they can feel on the edge. Also the side plates have been formed so they can be much taller, with cut lines to help you choose the perfect amount of side bite for your track. The wing is made from durable 1.5mm lexan material and it is available now.

Team Orion Vortex R8.1 Pro ESC

Team Orion introduce the new Vortex R8.1 Pro 1/8 competition brushless speed controller specially designed for sensored BL motors. The 2S to 4S LiPo-compatible ESC is based around the World Championship winning R10 Pro speedo and features the same advanced programming features, dual sensor ports and machined aluminium case design. The controller is equipped with a strong 6V/7.2V BEC system, an improved cooling fan protection and it works with both sensored and sensorless motors. It comes with Factory-installed Deans-type connectors while additional programming can be performed using Team Orion’s DSB-R programming box. The controller will be on show at the upcoming Nuremberg Toyfair at the end of January.
