Available soon from Swedish company Ghea comes this set of 16 pivot balls for the Mugen MBX7 buggy. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming hard-coated for wear resistance and a factory look the ball are lighter and more durable than the standard kit parts.

The fifth round of the RC LeMans Series 2013 took place at the EVMC track in Velp, NL. 28 drivers attended in the Pro10 class and after qualifying Rene Fischer took TQ in front of Nic Boon and Tobias Weist who put his car on the third spot in the grid. Qualifying was very close with the top five cars all being within 2 seconds. The overall win after the three finals went to Tim Altmann coming from fifth position and taking all three legs. Rene Fischer dropped one place and ended up in second position with Tobias Weist completing the podium. The lower finals went to Joachim Behnken who took the B final and Mathijs Hermens was successful in the C final.

T.O.P. announce the release of double joint universal driveshafts for the Photon EX touring car. Intended to be used the front end of the car the design of the driveshafts reduces the angle of the U-joints resulting is minimised chattering at high steering angles and therefore a smoother and more efficient drive train. The shafts are made from high-quality steel, come hardened and include two ball bearings that are needed for completion.

Xtreme Racing introduce these carbon fibre shock towers for the TLR 8ight 3.0 buggy. The front damper stay is made from 5mm material while the rear variant is cut from 4mm carbon fibre. Both parts are a direct replacement and retain the stock suspension geometry while scrubbing some weight for a lower centre of gravity.

Designed for all 22-series vehicles such as the 22 buggy, 22T stadium and the 22SCT short course truck are these rear aluminium hub carriers from Team Losi Racing. They sport an updated design over the previous version and now feature four mounting positions for the outer camber rod ball stud instead of five. The new parts allow to run lower outer ballstuds without having to fear any interference issues when the suspension fully compresses.

Spec-R introduce the R1 Pro Spec 1/10th electric touring car kit. Based on the already well-equipped competition car the updated kit includes a new 2.25mm carbon chassis plate, 2mm new style upper deck, 3mm front and rear shock towers, as well as a CNC-machined aluminium central servo mount, an aluminium fan mount and soft shock O-rings. Other features of the chassis like the all alloy bulkheads, standard length shock absorbers and front and rear alloy suspension mounts remain untouched.

This year’s IFMAR 1/10th Buggy World Championship at the A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar R/C Raceway will be run on Pro-Line Suburbs 2.0 and Scrubs X2 compound tyres, A Main Hobbies announce. The #8213-002 Suburbs rear tyre will be run in both the 2WD and 4WD class with the 4WD class also using the #8214-002 Scrubs front tyre. The two have to be used with stock foam inserts. Tyres will be available at A Main Hobbies’ Silver Dollar R/C Raceway during the event. Find more information here.

All parts are manufactured from top grade aluminium material with precision CNC machining and a limited edition red anodising. Available is a complete upgrade kit including parts such as motor plate, transmission plate, shock parts, steering knuckles and C-hubs, upper and lower links, steering linkage, axle trusses, shock mounts and more. All parts are also available separately but, as the complete upgrade kit, only in very limited quantity and only direct through STRC’s web shop.
